• Carl Emerson was pronounced dead at 12:30pm.

• We have a suspect in custody.

That's it. Nothing else. If I hear details leaking on the network, we're going to have a problem. Got it? Good.

In the meantime, officers, let's up our patrols, get our faces out there so people know we're here to help.

I've already gotten with Law Enforcement this morning. They're beefing up presence around the compound, making themselves known more. Nothing out of the ordinary in the aftermath of this bullshit. Personally, I think the guy should have been shoved down the Witching Well for all eternity, but goddamnit if people don't just get in the way of doing things by the book.

I'm not normally one for strong language, but based on the rumours starting to fly-- bloody hell, what a disaster.

I won't be surprised if we get pestered to say what verdict we would have rendered had the trial come to a natural completion. I'm inclined to stay tight-lipped quiet on that regardless of whether we're given permission to speak on it.
