We Fables used to have something similar to your Unity Day. Ours was called Remembrance Day, but it was no less a celebration that we'd united and that together we were stronger. The Chancellor and I welcome you to the festivities, including a dance to be held in the Mess Hall with music and punch. We hope you'll join us.

Agent Hummingbird, reporting for duty ma'am! I did some snooping, and I sense that Miss Fred does have a crush! I couldn't get a name, but he definitely has blonde hair and something to do with...GUESS WHAT? SPIDERS!

There is much to be said for coming together across borders and differences and unity day here reminds me of the Greeks and the Romans uniting to save the world. It wasn't an easy decision for some, but I think the demigods have become stronger for it.

However, it has also made me miss the holidays and commemorations in New Rome.

It's always good to learn something about the place you're in, although I have to say that this sort of celebration is making me miss team member more than usual.

So, I'm probably not the best diplomat given my subject's apparent opinions of me and my singing voice leaves a lot to be desired.

So, uh, I'm pretty sure I said thanks at least twice already Saturday night, but thanks. Again. I don't know if it helped with the actual... y'know, but it definitely made the day leading up to it better.

Gold's scared. Belle messaged me to see if he'd asked me if I'd help him with the situation with his heart. I want to help him, for her sake, and because we don't let people just die like that, but for some reason I told her I wanted to talk it over.

Of course I'll help. He's Henry's grandfather, and we're family. And maybe we can finally get to know the real Gold.

Hey guys. OOC post here for the party/ceremony.

Early in the day, before the dance, there's just the usual little ceremony where 13 kids get up and recite the whole thing about how they all thought life would be better together. Security was pretty tight, however, because LAST YEAR, someone bombed the shit out of the ceremony and killed a few people (it was meant for Chancellor Jaha, oops).

ANYWAY, the dance. Lots of music from all over the eras. There was punch and some finger foods, and the Mess Hall was completely overhauled and expanded to look like this. The floor is almost a mirrored salt flat effect (No upskirt shots. The whole place is too dim to see anything, so it's just a lights reflecting off it thing.) The theme is under the sea, but not the cheesy kind. Along those walls, you can see the underwater glowing moving images of marine animals (nothing scary!).
