Our new friend in the cells is... not responding well. To anyone. Lincoln and Octavia were down here earlier trying to talk to him and he wouldn't react, he won't let anyone close enough to him to tend to his wounds. Hawke was able to cast a healing spell on him that helped, but our magic isn't at its strongest here. He won't die of infection, but he'll have scars or lasting problems if he won't let people near him.
He may eat when he gets hungry enough, but for now, nothing.
Wicked Grace? Josephine and Varric aren't here to cheat us.
>> How are you doing since the Fade thing?
>> And uh - can I give you a blanket apology for anything gross you happen to see?
>> 'Cause I'm not really sorry, but I know you have this thing...
>> And so I'm saying I'm not sorry. But I am. This is a terrible apology!
[slight delay]
>> ...can I bring my fiancé to capture the flag practice?
I understand that you have had new memories or dreams implanted since your arrival here. Carol indicated that you might be interested to find out if those memories are real or a fabrication.
I can find that out for you, but I would need to sit with you and go into your mind. It's not always a pleasant experience, but if you're willing, I would like to help you.
Do any of you want to babysit for an evening? I was kind of hoping for a quiet evening with Finnick.FINNICK:
What are you doing Friday night?
Hello! My friend Annie, she's so great, she has a four year old son. Well my friend Katniss, also great, volunteered to watch him on Friday. I was wondering if it would be all right to invite the two of them over?
Is it true? They caught the werewolf?
I don't look so terrible today.
Did you hear the announcement? They're electing two people who came from the pods to serve on the Council and represent the community here.
I'm putting my name in.
Okay, with your approval, I think we can finalise the cast list. I know you and I have our differences about Mary Jane Watson but ... you know what, okay. You were persuasive.
Also! I should let you know now that I'm running for one of the two Council spots. I'm not going to let that or the soap-making interfere with the play. I do best when I'm busy.
(By the way. I saw you across the room at breakfast this morning. You looked very good.)
We've met a few times, but a formal introduction may be best: I'm Asala Adaar, and I more-or-less run the prison here.
I've noticed the way you speak to people, and given that there's going to be two new seats on the council for the pod people, I think it should be us. We both know this is more than just a popularity contest; if there are going to be successful counselors for our people, they have to be those who are trusted to keep the peace, who are fair and honest, consistent in keeping the laws and compassionate when the time comes for punishment. It can't be about wanting power and attention, and I don't think you want either.
At home, I ran the Inquisition -- and organization built to create order among the chaos inflicted on us by an ancient evil -- and was regularly put in the position of judging wrongdoings. I've never resorted to cruelty or execution, and my people brokered peace between nations historically at war.
I would rather run with someone than against them in this case. Essentially running together may curb some of the competitive spirit, and people may feel safer choosing people who have already demonstrated they work well with others.
You and I need to have a sit down, heart to heart.
Why in the bloody fucking hell did no one tell me that there was another fucking werewolf from our home besides Lupin?
You know how I feel about politics. But I feel like I could do some good for all of us if I were on the council. I'm thinking about running. What do you think?
