Hey I'm curious. So I know there's other people like me that don't really have magic and stuff where we come from. So like, getting here and finding out this is all real is a fucking trip, right? But people who did have magic, this is like, at least you have one foot on the ground when you get here, right? It might be different, but you can figure it out. Dear Residents of Preya,

My name is Cassiopeia Black. For those of you who do not know me, I am part of Preya's magical community. I do not speak in any official capacity, but as a very concerned citizen.

It is my understanding that a number of the recent 'disappearances' were in fact residents of Preya being taken by ship to an island belonging to the ruler of Preya, for a holiday. While they may have enjoyed their sojourn away, I must condemn this action in the strongest possible terms. If the ruler and his advisors wished to extend the gift of a holiday to these residents, why in the world would they not inform them in advance, giving them the opportunity to notify their friends and family?

It is especially concerning if we consider that other, unexplained disappearances have taken place. One is hesitant to suggest deliberate manipulation of events or a wish to spread fear. I do suspect insensitivity rather than malice. However, it seems essential to speak against this. Where I come from, it is the duty of the community's most advantaged to have the courage to set an example to the others. I have not been personally affected by recent events, and that is why I am speaking out. As an observer, they seem both alarming and confusing.

I call upon the ruler, his advisors and associates, and the council of Preya to condemn kidnapping and abduction for any purpose, however well-intentioned.

I'd like to ask about something. I've arrived here from 1940, and my family and immediate community are very traditionalist for the time. Old-fashioned, you might say. When I was growing up, I was very often told that I couldn't do things because I was a girl. As I got older, I didn't let it stop me from following my ambitions, but I also got rather good at persuading and placating and otherwise winning round the men who told me I shouldn't. Men may be more suited to certain pursuits, but that doesn't mean women aren't capable of them at all. One has to be clever about it, that's all.

I don't see those attitudes here in Preya, for the most part. Certainly not on the telephone network. What I do see, however, is a level of crudity and disrespect that really does frighten me. I'm not so naive as to believe none of the men back home thought that way, but they at least had the decency not to share their thoughts with all and sundry. Aren't you terribly worried by it? And why do you think they do it, if they don't think that they are superior to women?

Hey. So I had an idea, since I'm kind of an expert in the field. I will be taking applications from 6's-10's and there can only be one winner. This is the 'best ass in Preya' competition. I found out my ghost couzin is not really a ghost he is a TIME TRAVELER from long long ago and that is why his clothes are like in a portrait. He is not mean like I said befor he is going to protect me from all muggles.
