I've found a wonderful little book with some new patterns for embroidered spellwork. Incorporating protective spells into clothing is always rather useful!

Tutoring my cousin only takes a few hours of the day, though, and it's nice to have other, new ways to pass the time. Does anyone have any books or other documents about the history of Preya? It is such a remarkable place, and I'd like to know more about the history of various organisations and businesses here.

Hello, my beautiful people. After a year since my arrival, since I have started working, it is finally ready, just in time for the New Year. I, Sadji Samara, would like to introduce you to Menouthis. On the ground floor, you'll find a gorgeous (if I do say so myself) fine dining experience with a wide array of exotic foods - Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, so-on-and-so-forth. For those that do not find fine dining to be their cup of tea, you can descend into the Underworld - Duat, a brand new club experience. On both levels, you will find live music and entertainment - though I must say, the first week will be the finest with a number of dance performances, circus acts, fire breathers and such.

I love how quiet the institute is during the holidays, with most people going other places for Christmas. The dorms are actually peaceful for once. It's wonderful.

Wishing a Merry Christmas and warm season greetings to everyone in Preya. I am blessed beyond words with the best gift I could ever imagine: my beloved Susan saying yes to the proposal of marriage. I am engaged to the most beautiful woman with the kindest heart I've known. I look forward to Spring when we celebrate our union.

I also woke to a gift all the way from Centurion Square, my sword from Camelot. So glad to have a piece of home with me in Everdale.

As I have been here several weeks now, I suppose it's time I find a permanent place to call home. The Reagan Inn has been very hospitable, but one can't live in a hotel forever. However, I am still acclimating to life here in Preya, and find I could use some assistance in procuring an appropriate property.

I heard that there's a holiday fashion trend called ugly sweaters? Why would anyone wish to dress in one of those? When I think of the holiday, I think elegant and cozy. Not itchy and...ugly.

How did it take me so long to discover the Star? The services there are wonderful for Muggles.

I've started work on a new project. I shall be aiding with the opening of a Preyan branch of the Cauldron Society, which is a charitable organisation which aids children with magical or other special abilities who have been orphaned or are otherwise disadvantaged.

We're starting now because we want to make sure they have a good Christmas. Donations, including children's toys or magical supplies, are very welcome. You can send them to our offices at [Summerbridge address] or to Zorby the elf at [Everdale address], whichever is most convenient.

I got lost in a book for three or four days. Did I miss anything important?

I must admit, I'm getting quite excited for the holidays! I've already begun to decorate the home, but the last touch will be the tree. I think I shall wait until December actually rolls around to procure one. But what theme shall I do this year? I thought about paying tribute to my alma mater, but maybe it's better to keep that separated from Preya.
