I flew into town this afternoon and found the most delightful little tea-house. It's not quite Asphodel's, but it'll do. I really ought to make more of an effort, it's simply too isolating when one doesn't have family around, otherwise. This place does seem quite safe.

I should feel guilty but You know that feeling when you take off your bra after like a really long day? I'm super hoping that this place will be like that feeling. It's already letting my mind have a breather. Tell me this place'll let me have at least a quasi-quiet life instead of deadly emoji bots and dead space monk pyramids of terror?

Do people really find hope here, in this place? Those of you that have been here longer, is it really everything you wanted it to be, no sneaking, lingering regrets at the back of your minds? Or is this just another lie to cling to as you try to tell yourself that your choices were the right ones? That there's nothing else you could have done, that it's all worth it in the end?

Perhaps I'm putting too much thought into it. After all, it isn't as though we can simply leave now can we?

Last night I just saw the most amazing thing! This fellow on the side of the road painting pictures of space - planets, stars, galaxies - using only spray paints and bits of ripped up newspaper!

Where do I buy spray paint? I'm going to teach myself how to do this!
