Just as you approach the darkest point in your life, you mysteriously receive a one way ticket with the promise of a better life. However, once you've redeemed your ticket, there is no turning back. Some find comfort in their new home, while others are desperate to leave. A revolution is in the works, what side will you take?

Where am I? I was supposed to go to Zurich for winter and spring break.
...I wanted to visit Overwatch and meet everyone. The crusader, the sniper - they even have a cowboy! I don't approve of them but some of them are kind of cute.I could have kissed a cowboy.
This is another holiday I have never celebrated. If I am up past midnight tonight, how am I supposed to arrive on time to work tomorrow morning? I open this bakery at 5am, which means I need to be here at least an hour beforehand, in order to bake the goodies that I sell.
Celebrating New Year's Eve by counting down the seconds to midnight seems very inconvenient.
This has been the best day. Finally the ruler seems to have done something right. I've never been more thankful for magical loopholes in my entire life.
I hope everyone got their wishes, and the new year brings good things as well.
One good thing about this time of year is the food selection. I think I spent way too much on stuff that will take me months to eat. Anyone like butter cookies?
One of my regular customers gave me an "Advent Calendar" with chocolates in each of the little boxes. I was instructed to only have one each day. And inside each day is a note. This seems to be an ordinary custom, and I must say I'm finding it quite enjoyable thus far. It was a delicious addition to my coffee this morning.
[Natasha] I'm going to try a sleeping potion from Jamie this weekend to see if that'll help with my insomnia. We're going to try it in the forest in case there are any surprises. Would you be willing to be on call for assistance with the other guy if it comes to that?
[Jamie] We still on for this weekend?
[Tony] Jamie said he has a sleeping potion that might help me sleep. It's been a challenge lately. Have you ever tried to analyze something magical like that? Think it's worth it?
[Cath] Sorry about being in such a rush I couldn't chat this morning. The pastries were fantastic as was the coffee. I definitely needed it to get through a half-day of lectures.
I've had quite a bit of fun creating gingerbread houses to decorate the shop. I think this one's my favorite. To see the rest you'll have to come and visit Sweet and Tart in Summerbridge.
So. Thanksgiving is next week, I figure dinner is in order. Bird and all that stuff. Anyone's welcome, I just need a headcount so I know if I need to accommodate anyone.
I'm sure some of you know this is for you, but it's open for whoever if you've got nothing to do or just want some free food. If there's enough we can potluck, or I can be generous and figure it out. Whatever you want. Bring a friend, or more than a friend. No point in being alone unless you want to.
I'm in Summerbridge, but you don't have to be from around here if you don't mind coming.
