She tells me she can cook, and while I have no reason to not believe that to be true, I'll also have take-out on stand by. Just in case.

All this talk about people going missing made me think about Steve a friend of mine who vanished from Brightford. I went to his house, but he wasn't there.

Since I've had a few folks asking, and because I have more finite plans now:

I hope you're all saving the date on October 29th, because you haven't lived if you haven't been to a Stark Party.

My party planner assures me that Halloween kitsch is a good time, so prepare yourselves for bizarrely themed food and drink. Bloody Marys will be available for those still hung over from any festivities that were going on the morning of or day prior.

Costumes are optional but I'll judge you if you don't have one.

Twenty days to Halloween. I've already got my costume, thanks to some really great friends who came out shopping with me over the weekend. I'm still adding bits and pieces to it, and still looking for the perfect pair of boots, even though the one I have will probably do.

I didn't think the Halloween bug was going to hit me this hard... but I'm into it! :)

I got shower water in all the things I didn't want shower water in.

Help, that was my last pot of coffee.

Okay, I have pumpkins on my porch now. I'm getting in the mood for the holiday.

They were playing "The Monster Mash" at work yesterday, too. Things are getting serious.

The farmers market had some amazing produce this morning. I think I'm going to have to make a couple cobblers or pies with all these apples to use them up. Went a bit overboard.

Hey, guys! It's Jessica from Purrfect Cup and I'm really happy to announce that our friendly orange cream tabby, Peaches, picked out her human today. I'm glad someone finally figured out that her drooling when happy is actually pretty cute. Keep a napkin!

I'll be heading to the shelter tomorrow for a couple new faces. Also if I never eat another pumpkin hand pie or whoopee pie I think I'll be okay with that.

Who went to the festival? What was your favorite part?

I petted at least three dogs yesterday. Well, no more than five. But at least three.

I never thought I would win the grand prize for the raffle, but I did! I am so going to enjoy four days and three nights of luxury and relaxation.

I know I should be in bed by now, busy weekend and all, but I can't seem to sleep. Reading isn't helping, nor is chamomile tea.
