Just as you approach the darkest point in your life, you mysteriously receive a one way ticket with the promise of a better life. However, once you've redeemed your ticket, there is no turning back. Some find comfort in their new home, while others are desperate to leave. A revolution is in the works, what side will you take?

I mentioned doing something with this before and now that I've gathered the supplies to make the cards and the outfits for those helping with the deliveries, I wanted to put it out here again that if you'd like a Valentine or candygram delivered, I'll be taking orders to have them delivered for Valentine's Day. You can be named or remain anonymous, it's up to you! Not limited to the Abacus Institute, so everyone go ahead and let me know here if you'd like one! For personalized Valentines with no candy we'll be asking $3 and ones with candy $5. Proceeds will be going into clubs and activities at the Institute.

If one of our local sweet shops would like to partner up with us on this, it could be a great advertising opportunity!

Good evening.

I have been hesitant in inquiring about such a thing as my inquiry is of a delicate nature. However, I am at a loss for what to do. You see, my seraph blade appears to be chipped on one side. I imagine this came to pass during the last battle I fought, and I had not had the opportunity to properly look over it. I would like to know if there is anyone here with experience in repairing weapons. The reason I say this is a delicate matter is the following:

My seraph blade is very unique. It is no ordinary weapon. Carved into it are angelic runes that give the weapon the ability to destroy demons or those hostiles of demonic blood. Typically, the weapons of the Shadowhunters are forged and cared for by the Iron Sisters, as only they know the proper ways to imbue our weapons with the necessary angelic runes and how to ensure the runes are not corrupted if repairs need to be made.

I understand that what I am asking for might seem rather daunting, and I do apologize for this. I only fear my blade will weaken if I allow it to remain as is without repair. If anyone would be most kind as to assist me in this matter, I would be very grateful.

Thank you all kindly.
Jem

Wizard's Chess, anyone?

Oh! And before I forget, there is a most exquisite tailor in Everdale just near the school that I highly recommend. Fast and reliable and not terribly expensive either. Indeed, I shall be styling my new purple robes come Monday morning's class!

A word, if I may?

[Magical Journal Entry X-posted on Network]
My Potions students are all doing exceptionally well. I'm rather strangely proud of that fact. They seem to understand the material quickly and perform their in-class duties eagerly all the time. Even those who tend to struggle with the subject are quick to ask for help and can assimilate the lesson promptly. However, at times, I feel as though I bore them. There's a time for lecture and a time for more hands-on practical work. They don't complain about either, but there are moments when I catch a few of them dozing off. Soon as I stop talking, they snap back to attention, and I know they don't mean to come to my class for a nap. I wonder if perhaps it's me. Is there a better way to keep their attentions during lecture?
