I got stuck in the back of a truck for two freakin' hours. I couldn't move, so I couldn't tell the bastards I was still in there and they didn't find me until we were at the next stop.

Destiny is a funny thing, isn't it? You never really know what it is, you just get little hints along the way telling you which path to take. It can change, but most of the time it is fluid, like a running stream, though inevitably you end up at the same destination.

My destination has led me here. This place is quite lovely, though it comes at a cost and I can understand why I can sense the air of unrest here as well.

That doesn't really matter to me. I chose to come here and I've brought my library with me.

My name is Yves, and I am the Archangel of Destiny. I understand why that might alarm some of you, but then again perhaps it doesn't as I can feel the presence of several of my siblings here.

I've been walking the Earth for a long, long time, helping people find their destinies. I've seen a great many things. So I'm well equipped with Earthly customs, and people have said that I don't speak or look like I'm an archangel older than all of creation which I guess I'll take as a compliment.

That being said, my Library is Ravenmoore Athenaeum. In there if you look hard enough you can find any book you desire, and if you request, I can help you find a book, journal or something similar that is personal to you that you may have left behind.

We also have free Wi-Fi, so feel free to take advantage of that.

Now that that's sorted, I'm going to hit the gym.
