Who: Riven and Zeke
Where: The Park
Riven had been working on a mixed media sculpture set for months, three pillars of wood and glass that was supposed to go in the park. Her progress had slowed to a crawl when her mood darkened, but the fire in the park spurred her into action once more. She'd been debating the colors and their arrangement, but now it came to her quickly and she finished the project in record time. Once she was done, all she had to do was move the pieces from her pod to the park and bolt them to the ground. It was easier said then done. She found herself working with cement, digging holes to fill and create an anchor. It hadn't occurred to her how much work it would take to put them on display, but she would manage.
It took her hours to get the first pillar in place and she was covered with dirt by the time she was done. Riven stood back and looked at it, smiling. She'd cut the wood to slide thick stained glass down the center, all hues of blue. The sun shined through it, lighting up the grass, and she couldn't wait to get the other two up,
one rainbow and one red. It was a perfect little memorial, a reminder that they were one, even if they were different.
