I must admit, I'm getting quite excited for the holidays! I've already begun to decorate the home, but the last touch will be the tree. I think I shall wait until December actually rolls around to procure one. But what theme shall I do this year? I thought about paying tribute to my alma mater, but maybe it's better to keep that separated from Preya.

I've had quite a bit of fun creating gingerbread houses to decorate the shop. I think this one's my favorite. To see the rest you'll have to come and visit Sweet and Tart in Summerbridge.

For those of you who do not know me, my name is Cassiopeia Black, and before I left for Preya, it was 1940. I do apologise for the somewhat...unorthodox means of communication, but I have an important question for anyone willing to answer.

I understand that in my future there is a strong possibility that some awful person is going to start a conflict worse even than that we face in my time. I do not agree with war. I do not believe it is how civilised people settle their differences, and I would like to think that anyone who had seen the state of London at home would agree with me.

I would like to know the identity of this individual, and any information that would enable me to stop him before he can tear apart what remains of our society, should I return home someday.

Due to previous unpleasantness, I would also like to note that anyone using this message to air their perceived grievances against pureblood witches and wizards or our culture will be summarily ignored. The Autumn Concert was lovely; I do wish such performances were held more often. The convenience of recorded music is wonderful, but it simply sounds better when played on a real instrument.

Where can I find a decent Firewhiskey around here?
