So. Good news, bad news.

Good news: judging by the remains of the campground out in the meadow, this place was once of great scientific interest to some of the finest minds among the American evil-industrial complex known as the Department of Defense.

Bad news: [...] [...] Bones appears to be gone, so he doesn't get to bask in the presence of history like the rest of us.

I've turned Cabin 3 into a makeshift clinic, since apparently there isn't one here. All I've got is bandaids from the store, my tricorder and a few hyposprays. Basically, not much to work with. If you're a member of Echo, apparently you get a discount on medical supplies at the store. If you'd like to buy some things and donate them to the clinic, that'd be nice. Also, if you'd like to help out and take a shift at the clinic, be my guest. Just please know basic first aid. If you work the clinic back at the Institute, you're welcome to help too.

And all of you, try not to do anything stupid and get yourselves gravely injured. We don't have the facilities to deal with it.

Did you find anything in your backpack that you didn't put there?

I'm so done with camping. I was doing this for six months already this year, and that was plenty enough for a lifetime, thanks.

And I never put any effort into finding gold. It seemed... kind of pointless. More fool me I guess.

I really don't like not being able to use magic.

Clint, Wanda and I found this while we were out looking for gold. Half of an advertisement for... something. Does it look familiar to anyone? Has anyone seen what might be the other half of the paper?

I'm almost at the point of giving up on trying to keep the dust out of the clinic here. Everytime I finally get it all cleaned someone comes walking through the door and brings another cloud of it in with them. I miss St. Mungo's

Hello, I'm Shuri. I've only just arrived and have been assigned to work as a Scientist with you.

Is there anything you are interested in working on? I was perhaps considering seeing how we could improve these devices. I am curious to see what ideas you have though?

1. Who do I have to talk to about the atrocious selection of books in the library?

2. At least the bunk beds in Hotel felt less claustrophobic than these ... and I like small tight spaces.

Council & Jury

From what I understand with the many recent departures, there are many Squads who are missing one or both of you. You probably have a better idea than I do as to which squads are missing who though.

I was thinking perhaps it might be time to reassess the Squads as many are likely to be a lot smaller than they used to be.

Of course not being a member of either the Council or Jury I do not have final say in this matter, it would fall to you but it is something I have been pondering lately.

I feel like maybe this is pity training. Like we were so abysmal in the jungle that they thought maybe we needed some help. Maybe that's why we didn't get a "reward".
