Have you been following all this shit with the machine they're making us build?

There has been a lot of talk about whether or not we ought to be building these machines. Who they will benefit, who they won't, if we'll finish or not, who might control it once it's done -- even if it will do what Hotel says it will.

But there hasn't been a lot of talk about the fact Hotel block is doing all this work that could do great things for all of you, without very much support. We're having to barter with ourselves for motivation -- but what 's fair about it? Maybe you can't build these yourselves, but nothing is stopping you from making the burden easier for those that have to work.

Just when I was beginning to grow accustomed to this place and its unique nature, we're being shuttled back home again. We wouldn't want anyone to get to comfortable, or give anyone time to fall into a routine, though, would we?

The intervening calm has been both unbearably dull and strangely welcome, however. At least now I know exactly what needs to be done when we return to get back to work as effectively as possible.

I got this little sandbox thing, and it's meant to have rocks that come with it, and you rake around them to make shapes. It pretty - it reminds me of some of the wind deserts back home. It says it's supposed to help you focus, but I don't know how it would help you focus on anything but raking sand. Anyway, there's these little red rocks bugs in it, and I guess they were free. They're sweet. They'll climb right on your finger. I wonder what they eat.

I know recent news has changed a lot of things, but despite that, we still need to stick together in order to maintain our supply of resources. The last two days, I've been scouting the area on my own and I've got some good leads but I know better than to go in by myself.

Rey has already offered to go with me, but I'd at least like a third or to put together teams of two to go out with me in subsequent days. If anyone's up for digging through rubble and abandoned buildings and potentially fighting off less than savory sorts, let me know.

Alright, here's the thing.

Apparently, we're all playing a very elaborate game of CLUE and for some insane reason the scientists have selected me as your representative I can only assume it's because Big H likes me the best. So say hello to Colonel Mustard.

What this means is, we've gathered - the other representatives and I - is that there is a killer somewhere in this hotel. One of the general population. Whether the murders are real or not, we don't know yet because none of them have happened but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that they're just going to disappear us one by one and leave behind clues for us to solve.

The thing is, only one block can win this and the block wins as a whole. So we need to work together. Which was exactly what I was talking about before, for those of you who were involved in that disaster of a conversation. Which, full disclosure, was my task at the circus so I'm sorry about that. But it all came from a completely genuine place, at the same time. Because my boss says I'm the worst liar he's ever met.

Anyway. If one of you has been tapped to be the killer, you need to tell me so I can protect you because the other blocks are going to be trying to find out who you are and we need them not to. Because we need them not to win. And if our game turns from deduction to sabotage, then it needs to turn that way now - because while November and Echo might be smart, sabotage is what we do.

Hey, does anyone have a spare set of glasses? I can see if the prescription is the same but I seem to have stepped on mine in all the chaos the other night and I'm pretty useless without mine.

Remaining Beach Campers, I think we've put this off as long as possible. We need to pack up what we can salvage, and follow the rest of our camp inland towards the caves. Even though the flooding seems to have subsided, I don't trust the look of the ocean. I'm leaving in two hours, anyone who wants to come with me is welcome.
