Now that we've got some distance from the situation, and to make a point to my scientist that I didn't half-ass my task just because I wanted people to like me, I want to apologize for releasing the animals when we first arrived at the circus. Originally, I let them out for about half an hour before ushering most of them back into their pens but, no, that wasn't enough for November. Released is released, no matter how long for, but I suppose he isn't the most literal sort.

So, yes, I'm very sorry for introducing further chaos into an already chaotic system.

If anyone who failed their task wants anything from the mountain, let me know.

So I've been out here for... several days, missing several of those stupid workouts, and have made friends with what I'm told are called chickens, several of those as well. And a bulldog with teeth that don't hurt when it bites you, so that's nice too.

I don't think I've ever quite been this drunk for this long but I created a nice cycle of drinking, throwing up, and passing out that seems to have worked for me so far.

Starting to miss real food and water, though, but, you know, what do they expect when they create rivers and lakes of alcohol? For people to moderate their intake? Weaklings.

How is your head today?

Of all the things I occasionally miss, or sometimes misplace and worry about for a few minutes, I never thought I'd miss my tool kit. And yet here I am, glad to have it back, digging through it and reorganizing everything that I'd just tossed back in there the last time I had it out, spending time with my stuff.

Not that there's anything to fix around here, so I still feel mostly useless, but at least I've got it just in case I do find something that could be potentially engineered to improvement.

Though I suppose I probably ought to spend more time exploring this place and seeing where everything is, getting to know it better. But I like where I am and I don't mind following Jim around mostly just staying put and watching everyone else. Sort of what I did before anyhow.

I do miss Petra, now that I think about it, but I can see why that didn't show up here, honestly.
