As Barbara mentioned, right now the library seems to be suffering a shortage of books that aren't directly related to philosophy, published before 1870 or [...] novelizations of Everyone Loves Raymond and The Golden Girls -- which if anyone would like to borrow Golden Girls books, they're going to have to ask Wade Wilson to return.

We mean to petition the scientists for more books, but it's important to us that we ask for books that you - as a community - would like to read. Therefore we've created a short survey for anyone interested to fill out. Once we get a fair number, I'll bring the list to Echo.

In addition, I'd love it if anyone would like to talk to us about the books they love and why.

[OOC: Since characters are from a number of different worlds and realities, some, none or all the books a character lists on their form can be made up.]

Council & Jury
From what I understand with the many recent departures, there are many Squads who are missing one or both of you. You probably have a better idea than I do as to which squads are missing who though.

I was thinking perhaps it might be time to reassess the Squads as many are likely to be a lot smaller than they used to be.

Of course not being a member of either the Council or Jury I do not have final say in this matter, it would fall to you but it is something I have been pondering lately.

When the "Space Race" is won, do we thing that this scenario will end? Or will something else happen? We know so little, still, about what any of this is meant to mean.

[Bruce Wayne (DCEU)]
Daenerys's "appreciation" dinner tomorrow, do you think you want to go?
[Steve Trevor]
There's a slim chance I may need a date for a party, if that sort of thing holds any interest for you.

[Guy who controls metal]
The guy with silver hair has told everyone in Hotel that you're going trying to get charges against anyone not helping.

The Helmet guy with an accent wants to burn the machine.

The guy who's hair looks like cat ears wants to build it and then not give you powers.

Still working on the names of who's not working. But there you go.

I'm being threatened.

Diana Prince, Lois Lane, Bruce Wayne (DCEU)

Natasha Romanoff has been placed in a Soviet-era bunker somewhere by Hotel.

I'm going to give the zoo, the compound, and the park a full x-ray sweep. If any of you have additional ideas, that'd be great too. Hopefully I find something.

Constitutional Amendments

[info]woman
[info]incompletedata
I know, beyond the freedom to move between squads, there were other suggested Amendments that were floated around in the past few months. We have a few council and jury positions we need to fill, once that is finished, council members will vote on the amendments. In the place of a tie, the jury will also vote.

Suggested Amendments

STRIKE/REMOVE: Article 4.4) Should one group become more than twice as large as the average of the remaining groups, it shall be granted an additional Council representative. Additionally, should groups include more than fifteen (15) members, a second Council representative will be elected.

Suggested by: Several

REPLACE WITH: NEW Article 4.4) After a minimum of three experiments or 4 months (whichever arrives first) any member of the Collective may choose to transfer squads. Such a transfer must be approved by the new Squad's Council member. At the discresion of the Council Member and the New Squad, they can choose to vote on whether or not to honor the transfer request.

Suggested by: Lois Lane

Article 4.5:Should five or more members inform the Council that they wish to form their own Squad, such decision will take effect immediately, and will not require approval by any Council member or any other person whatsoever.

Suggested by: Armitage Hux

There has been plenty of discussion regarding the Amendment passed during the Hunger Games. For that reason, I would like it to be offically voted on here. If it passes now, it stays, if it does not, it will be striken from the constitution.

Article 7.5: The Wittgenstein Collective does not recognise the Scientists as being in any way exempt from the list of minor or major offenses. (including murder, conspiracy, etc)

Suggested by: Sharon Carter, Professor Xavier

Article 8.6 In the event of an emergency, as recognised when the Council/Jury has been depleted of over 1/3 of its members, a temporary amendment to the constitution designed to protect the collective, sustain life, or provide aid may be passed into law by popular vote. Six weeks after the crisis has been averted, the amendment must either be recinded or be voted into law by the Council, as per all amendments.

Suggested by: Diana Prince
---------

Alternate wording will be considered, striking or changing something already in the constitution will be considered.

[Squad 8 + Sharon Carter (616)]
You have until the end of the week to select a new council member

[Squad 11 + Sharon Carter (616)]
You have until the end of the week to select a new juror

To the President of the Council, Supreme Justice of the Council, Council Members, and all the council-related titles I haven't heard or might be getting wrong:

Greetings! As you may have seen my introduction earlier last week or was it two weeks ago? Telling time here is so weird - or maybe not, considering my arrival coincided with a throng of mock-trials and everyone was in a tizzy- anyway, my name is Leslie Knope, and I am settled in and ready to offer the whole of my advice and services.

I have always had a passion for government, and a drive to always do what's best for my community, whether it be Pawnee or in this case, a congregation of multi-universe alien abductees in what I imagine the Betty Ford clinic might look like in the future. I was recently elected to a city council seat in beautiful Pawnee, and I have a long history of community service stretching all the way back to elementary school- including Model UN, Student Government, and leader of the Pawnee Goddesses.

Is there anything I can help you with? I've been going a little crazy itching to get my hands dirty.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Charles Xavier for the work he did organizing the trials here and seeing justice, as it was outline by our constitution, done. I understand that there are those who are unhappy with the punishments or the process itself but the law that we wrote was the one that we followed. I would also like to thank our temporary jurors and council members, as well as those on the trial and the council who aided or participated in the trials, I know that it was taxing, difficult, and at times distressing. I'm sure all of you have heard more complaints than appreciation and I wanted to take a moment to say that none of this works without your hardwork and your input. Going forward if changes are made, they are changes that you helped usher in as we grow as a united community. I will continue to rely on your support and your work, and I thank you for it.

I will be taking over as the Supreme Justice, as elected by the jurors. Until the penalties that were granted to the those found guilty are completed, the court is in recess. I will accept recommendations for constitutional amendments from council representatives and individuals. When the court returns, I'll be publishing a list of the potential amendments we'll be voting on, based on your suggestions and on our own observations following these trials.

Thank your all for your patience and your adherence to our constitution whether in your heart and mind you support it or not.

Regretfully, both of my Squad's tributes have been killed before I was able to send any support with our funds. I am uncertain if they can be donated or used for other purposes.

May Regina Mills and Phryne Fisher be remembered as proud and beautiful women who were taken from us too soon by this senseless slaughter.

I hope this excuses me and my group from further attendance.
