I'm gonna need everyone to be on the first floor tonight. I know there's the black-out, but I need you all to be down there before the black-out. I heard a rumor of something happening tonight, and to get everyone down there.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but I got a message that something might happen tonight and to get the kids somewhere safe. There's a wine cellar in the basement that's been busted open and we can use that to hole up for the night.

Where's a good murderboard when you need one? Like, damn. That would make everything so much easier right now.

But so would three shots of vodka, a venti double caff vanilla latte, an enormous cinnamon roll, and my dad's Sierra en Escabeche. I mean, it wouldn't make anything easier, maybe, but it would make me feel less punchy. But so would Noah. And Emma. And I guess Stavo and Brooke too.

Couple of questions.

1) I'm told we're at war. And it isn't with Iraq. Is this common knowledge? Who are we fighting?
2) What is a "ration book"? (What are soap flakes?)
3) Some old guy outside told me that bombs hit this place. Bombs! What the hell is that all about!?
4) Also: A MURDERER IS ON THE LOOSE? Is that real?
5) Where is the booze????????
6) Who am I talking to? I might not have entirely listened to the sciencutie that was here to orient me on all these howdeedodats. It's a miracle I even got this network device to work. Which makes me wonder--if everything here looks so old, how does this gadget even function?
