I figure that being given the job of janitor was meant to be annoying to me somehow, but honestly? Our captain back home is a clean freak and made us clean even when we didn’t need to. We also didn’t have half of the equipment and supplies back home we do here. So this is always over with much quicker than it ever was when he got into a mood. Jokes on you, I guess?

So hopefully those who are new have been more or less caught up to speed over the past 48 hours. But we should all check in to verify who is still here, and who's new. New people can ask what questions they still have.

It seems like they've shuffled rooming, but beyond that, we should see what other differences we can suss out.

WELCOME TO VERSION 2.0 Specimens will wake up this evening to to find themselves in group wards containing liquid filled pod. They will be wearing a silver bodysuit. The rooms are stark, though water and nutrient packets are provided in a basket along the one of the windowless walls. Each pod is marked with a two digit number and can be opened from the inside (allowing them to get out). They will have no network access and will not be able to leave these rooms though there does appear to be a sealed door on one end. Ain't sure how many of ya have the pleasure of listening to Bucky's album yet, but I'm gonna recommend ya do your best to get a copy from him. I lucked out in a trade agreement for getting mine. But if'n ya want some good, steady beats, soulful rhythm and top notch lyrics ya really ain't gonna do better than this one.

So the space race may have been bullshit, or this is what we get for losing. Either way. The game has changed. Our objective now should be SURVIVAL.

• To the broadest extent possible, only travel during daylight hours, preferably in vehicles.
• When inside, barricade doors. When it is safe, take the time to cover your windows as completely as possible
• Arm yourself with what you have at home. Prioritize firearms and incendiaries. Molotov cocktails are super easy to make. Alcohol + Fabric. But knives, kitchen equipment, gardening tools, etc can all be used to good effect.
• If you're not comfortable fighting, do not stand your ground. Run or stay with someone more capable.

Now, before the sun goes down, we need to

1. see what the hardware store has in regards to barricades and weaponry.
2. We need to establish secure locations for children and the injured.
3. And we need as full a report as possible of who's injured and how.
4. and who needs or wants to move (it looks like we're not all waking back up in our assigned houses now because Daisy?)
