You'd think they'd have a little more sympathy for the people they put in those games. Instead, there's just urns in the chapel, labeled with numbers. They didn't even dignify them with their names. It's disgusting.

Hopefully by now you've all seen Charles Xavier's post. We need to elect a interim council representative because I fucking refuse to give up hope that they're not really dead. This seems like a bullshit time to do this, but it has to be done before tomorrow.

Ron Swanson was running for council last time, and I nominate him. But we have a lot of new members of the squad and some of the old members aren't here anymore. So if anyone else would like to step up, please do.

Let's try to do this quickly so we can get back to more important things like mourning our friends.

While I don't really care what the scientists say we did or didn't do to bring about our current situation, I want to say first that I take full responsibility for the fact that I did contribute to the discourse about our potential ordeal. As one of your representatives, I think it's important for me to step up and do that. The announcement still feels seriously fucking dubious to me, but that's another issue.

The issue now is that we've sat silently on these "Games" for too long. We're not together in this squad for no reason. We have skills and we have ideas that could be useful right about now.

So hypothetically, if there was going to be a protest or a rebellion, how would you suggest going about it? We all know how to defeat monsters. Some of us are monsters (and I say that with the greatest affection and consider myself among that number, I want you to know). Our actions and reactions have already had some effect, but we need to do more.

It's already been suggested that we interrupt the broadcasts, which is a good start, but it's just a start.

So. How long are we expecting this to last for?

This is a big deal for me. Like, really big.

I still get the Bleeds if I'm up during the day too long but I don't know how they did it but, wow. The Mother-of-Pearl finish ain't bad, neither.

If I select a t-shirt, I am actively participating in an enterprise I do not condone.

I don't like this. I don't like any of this. If they're going into the experiment, what are the rest of us gonna do? Just sit around? I doubt it.

Considering we have figured out we all come from different times and worlds, and noting the cross-section of knowledge spread between us, there has been talk about what is coming at the end of the countdown.

Given the training, the pairing, and the information presented at the meeting, I think most of us have a vague idea on what to expect.

But like the specifics of the children's world we inhabited before, is there anyone who may think they actually fucking know what's coming?
