So this is what it's like to have supernatural powers. I'll admit, I had wondered - but I'm a bit underwhelmed, I think. I suppose I was expecting more - delusions of grandeur? More unfounded and yet ironclad conviction that said powers are the skills best suited to solving any given problem? A peculiar obsession with others similarly situated; a self-destructive fixation on the idea that I must test myself against them?

But perhaps these neuroses are acquired over time. I look forward to the experiment.

Where is everyone?

In Regina's absence, I will stand on the Council to represent Squad 13.

Given that we need to elect a new Coordinator, and the fact that as of yet there is no official election process on the books, perhaps now would be a good time to establish whether or not there are any squads which would like to hold general elections among themselves? I know Squad 4's Bruce Banner has expressed an interest in stepping down from his post. Are their others?

The Squads have changed a great deal, and I think it would be best, before we proceed with an election process, to make sure that everyone feels that their section is still best represented by their council member and juror.

Now that everyone has taken time to recover and get settled into our new yet underwhelming surroundings, we have a few matters of business to address.

First off, I spoke to Tony Stark about proposing a crisis response team, which was also then brought up by Peggy Carter. There are two components to this idea that need addressing:

-Peggy and Rogue discussed voluntary assignments of skilled individuals to take on pre-assigned roles in emergency situations so that everyone knows what they're supposed to do. Having a list available helps everyone have a better idea of who to turn to for help, and may also help us identify where we are lacking. Is anyone interested in canvassing the general public and compiling such a list and keeping it regularly updated?

-Tony and I discussed the idea of having a few individuals that can help organize emergency drills. This is more on behalf of the untrained civilians for situations that they may not be prepared for. My thought was asking Captain Rogers (World B) and Agent Romanoff (World A) to work on putting something together, but I'll take recommendations before we approach anyone.

That said, I think we should have a way to recognize or reward those that have gone out of their way to help others in these emergencies. This would include our medical professionals, and those that made their homes available to help shelter others. Agents Hill and Romanoff did an excellent job of protecting children and taking in people into their households.

And finally, we should take a look at the proposed amendments. We don't have time to vote individually on all of them, so to expedite the process, we will consider only those that anyone is willing to put their support behind. I would personally like to bring forward the idea for term limits, given that our time here has exceeded what any of us anticipated during the time of the drafting of the Constitution.

So the space race may have been bullshit, or this is what we get for losing. Either way. The game has changed. Our objective now should be SURVIVAL.

• To the broadest extent possible, only travel during daylight hours, preferably in vehicles.
• When inside, barricade doors. When it is safe, take the time to cover your windows as completely as possible
• Arm yourself with what you have at home. Prioritize firearms and incendiaries. Molotov cocktails are super easy to make. Alcohol + Fabric. But knives, kitchen equipment, gardening tools, etc can all be used to good effect.
• If you're not comfortable fighting, do not stand your ground. Run or stay with someone more capable.

Now, before the sun goes down, we need to

1. see what the hardware store has in regards to barricades and weaponry.
2. We need to establish secure locations for children and the injured.
3. And we need as full a report as possible of who's injured and how.
4. and who needs or wants to move (it looks like we're not all waking back up in our assigned houses now because Daisy?)

I feel compelled to mention that the miserable creature with whom I share accommodations seems to me as though she'll require continued medical attention beyond my capabilities.

The last top-secret, all-important project in which he participated was destroyed shortly after its completion by his active sabotage. I'm sure he has little more love for our captors here than he did for his masters then, and I am quite certain he would jump at the very first chance to undermine the laboratory's work by colluding with enemies of the people. He's done precisely this before, in perfect cold blood, and none of us should sleep comfortably until he's cleared of wrongdoing or, more likely, removed from his post at once.

Whoever this really is, I can assure you that this kidnapping plot is a grave miscalculation.

I don't know if the Resistance has offered you something in exchange for my capture, but whatever it is, they don't have it. And if this is an alliance, it's a foolish one. The First Order will come for me, and they are not known to be forgiving.

I recognize now that the subject of powers or abilities is a complex issue. There are passionate opinions on both sides about whether or not we should even be proceeding with the construction of this machine, but for me the answer is clear, and I think it should be for all of us. We can't debate whether or not it's ethical or optional to manipulate our access to abilities, that power already exists. It's wielded by the Scientists who brought us here. We can't let those dictators keep it.

For those unaware, Hotel has been tasked with building a device that could control the Facility's accest to powers. While I, myself, have only been here a few days, I've read the constitution and collected enough anecdotes about the past experiences of individuals here to feel confident in stating that the scientists do not have our best interests at heart. For that reason alone we must push forward with the construction of this machine to give this power to those who hold our interests and our survival in their hearts. That is our government. That is ourselves. That is not the scientists.
