I feel compelled to mention that the miserable creature with whom I share accommodations seems to me as though she'll require continued medical attention beyond my capabilities.

Now that's out of the way: it appears this threat is sufficiently well-known to have a name, in some worlds. I'd very much appreciate any information any of you might be willing to share. It's not an entity with which I'm familiar. ~~Couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people~~

Do be careful.

I had intended this morning to attempt to gain some insight into why this ideological split, premised so prominently on property rights, seems to carry so very much emotional weight for so many of our fellow captives - to try to suss out what all this nonsense has been about. The time, obviously, has passed. It's unfortunate. Now is the moment when all the least helpful voices are the least likely to pipe up and drown out the discussion.
