I know you don't know me, but I'd like to ask you a few questions.

Those without friends among our elected officials have received the harshest treatment, and have been afforded shockingly little respect as victims where their deaths have been brought about by the favorites of the powerful class.

Those with friends among our elected officials have in some cases failed to receive a conviction even though they asked for one, and in others have been found not guilty of heinous and blatantly intentional acts.

It's become very difficult, of late, to feel this government has any legitimacy whatsoever. The credibility of its agents is nil. They do what they like, when they like, why they like - and it invariably benefits them or their loved ones. We all deserve better.

The trials have all been concluded.

Those sentenced to community service will be assigned one of the graves that Hotel block was instructed to dig in order to turn them into a garden that can be of use to us all. If you were assigned community service more than once you will be assigned one garden space for each sentencing.

Surprisingly this isn't the worst hangover that I've been. I suppose I have learned to tolerate my alcohol fairly well. Still it is good to be back.

I thought about not weighing in about the trails but I have decided to do so. Having lived through the war, having seen people because they were told to do so by their Governments is it any different to the scenario we were just in? Were our soldiers persecuted for killing in order to stay alive?

I usually don't take things this seriously, I try to live and enjoy life, but this reminds me far to much of that.

I've had quite a bit of time to consider everything in the two weeks that I've been in this room. In that time, I found myself unable to judge any of you for the choices that you made in the arena. I'm no stranger to making choices that seem right at the time but in the end turn your acquaintances - perhaps even your friends - into your enemies. My past is littered with these moments. It won't happen overnight but in time you'll be able to put those choices behind you. Some relationships will recover though the journey to that will not be easy. And some may never recover. The outcome is dependent upon what YOU do from this day forward.

For those looking to talk to or sit with someone who understands what it means to live with having taken a life, I'm here. My experience with this is unfortunately quite extensive. I am also here for those who are struggling with the reality of having died and been brought back to life. Though, keep in mind, that I have only experienced this once before.

Everyone is welcome to help themselves to the bottles of whiskey, rum and the decks of cards that I've just conjured. You'll find them on a table in the center of the main ward. There is more than enough for everyone to share, so please, try and be civilized about it. I'll make it all disappear faster than you can blink if I see otherwise.
