What the fuck are these things? Tommy, Izzy, I hope you've got some good walls or magic stuff around your house. These were pretty fucking close to your place.

They're both dead; one has one of Jake's arrows sticking out of it (the creature is big enough that the arrow doesn't look too big), and the other's been decapitated. The blood looks thick and almost black.]

Charlie would like to invite everyone to a party plus water fight at the play park tomorrow afternoon for his 4th birthday.
Incredibly late notice because four year olds have no concept of time.
Also if anyone can bring food and snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) and any outdoor toys or games they have lying around that would be awesome.(No doors for a while - makes throwing a party tricky.)

Charlie and I spend a lot of time on outdoors activities, and he's getting to an age where just hanging out with his papa is getting a little tiresome.
Does anyone have children who might be interested in a sort of Scouts club? It would be good to get them socializing and learning skills that could be useful for island life at the same time.
On the same note, we got any adults who would be interested in helping to run an activity like that?

I never saw snow growing up...I lived in a desert area. It still fascinates me a little. Although I've had some nasty experiences with it, too.
It looks kind of nice around here, though. I hope everyone can stay warm.
