All right, ladies and gentlemen, most of you at the town meeting the other day will PROBABLY remember me, as the shrew of a witch who argued with Q about the assignments on his team...! Heh! Anyhow, as a witch, I need a HUGE favour from one of you, who is good with his or her hands, and with craftsmanship... Preferably someone with some sort of Magic blood in them - and yes, M'sieur Mitchell, vampires DO count as Magical in my book...! (Also, a general tendency to treat delicate things as such, as well as if they might EXPLODE if mishandled, would ALSO come in handy...!) I mean these skills to be put to good use: to make me a new Magic Wand...
No, I'm really NOT kidding, here; sorry, Muggles, but... I'm not...! Anyhow, unless anyone else wants to risk being barbecued, or electrocuted, or whatever, by that strange Tower in the centre of town, well, there are several charms I can try to cast against it, to keep it from Interacting with us at ALL...! I mean, it seems rather a long shot, especially knowing there were witches here before me, but... it's worth a shot, at any rate! We don't need ANYONE else dying off this damned island, am I right?
Anyhow, I've already got the materials I need for the wand: I've found a bloody
unicorn in the forest, tonight, and of course, being a woman, well... the little colt trusted me immediately... and then,
naturellement, as forests have plenty of wood in general, I was able to check out the threes, as well, and one of them... called to me, I suppose you'd say...! I mean, I didn't take anything OFF the tree, yet, because I figured if there was someone who happened to be an experienced whittler, he or she may want to remove the swatch him-or-herself; at any rate, I went ahead and marked the spot on the way back into town... so we'd be able to go out there again, tomorrow, hopefully; I mean, the sooner the better, right, especially with LIVES at stake...?
Anyhow, ta very much for reading all this waffling on, and I do hope to have a wandmaker to take back into the woods by tomorrow...! heh!
