At the Wittgenstein, access to your items from home as well as the universe-specific powers you possess are considered privileges, not rights, and in this case, your privilege has been revoked.

What you need to understand, Kylo Ren, is that these powers were not taken from you because you were disobedient, but because your behavior suggests a level of entitlement that will not be tolerated at this institution. Simply put, you seem to think you’re better than your fellow specimens. You think that you deserve attention, extravagances, comfort and safety above them and at their expense. We have seen examples of this in your behavior at the Institute, during the Circus and at the London Blitz, during which you were given ample opportunities to do more for your community than you chose to do.

While you have very loudly expressed your commitment to self-improvement, one week of mixed effort does not represent a sincere or sufficient change. Though it may represent a start. Until the point where can have confidence that this represents a legitimate, good faith effort rather than some attempt by you to trick us into releasing our hold on your powers, your powers will not be returned to you. We will need that these powers will be used to benefit the community as a whole and not just supplement your sense of entitlement.

In the jungle, you did far more for the specimens without your powers than you have when you’ve had them. We can therefore only draw the conclusion that you are better off without them. We’re open to having our minds changed, but at this time we feel that both you and the other specimens benefit more from this current situation.

Now I'm not saying I need a man to save me, but how much trouble do we need to get out to in the ocean to get a little mouth-to-mouth with that beefcake of a life guard?

I know I don't spend a lot of time there and I'm sorry about that, I know that fact might make this either inappropriate or really presumptive on my part, but I figured it never hurts to ask.

I was just wondering if there was anything around here that I could do, anything useful. I'm a mechanic - well, an engineer, but mostly just a mechanic - back home and I didn't know if there was something I could fix or a project I could work on or something like that? I just need something to do with my hands. Not to pass the time or because I'm bored, but I just like having things like that to do.

And I noticed that you sometimes brought books in, too. If it was no trouble, I have a few small requests in that area - just some things I had back home that I'd like to have here too. Again, if it's no trouble.

People of the Wittgenstein,

Hopefully many of you may remember the post that Sharon Carter (the elder) made in the aftermath of the Circus riot about our civic responsibilities. In the two weeks since we have been back at the compound, a small group of us have been stationed in the library, working on drafting a document assuring and defining our rights as citizens (not merely specimens) of this Wittgenstein collective.

We affirm, in brief: a right to assembly and self governance, a right to freedom from violence, discrimination or harassment, a right to freedom of speech, a right to property, and a right to freedom from degrading conditions, and an obligation to assuring a minimum standard of care and safety for all who are brought here. We maintain the sanctity of life for all specimens as our highest primary objective.

We propose a representative democracy comprised of a federation of "Districts" comprised of at least five people. This allows everyone's primary points of contact to be largely those with whom they would interact in any case, however, it also creates both a Wittgenstein Council and Jury comprised of elected representatives from each District which can address concerns that face the entire group, see to impartial, empathetic handling of specimen-on-specimen crime.

Finally, while at present we have the capacity to negotiate only amongst ourselves, it is our hope that success in this endeavor may give us some collective bargaining power with our scientists.

In any case, we have drafted a preliminary Constitution based on a variety of national Constitutions as well as drawing heavily from Prisoners' Rights theory, but it is only a preliminary document. We would like to open this up to all specimens for comment, suggestion, and revision in the interest of fairness and to capitalize on the assembled collective political expertise here.

( Hotel Punishment: The Road is Long )

[HOTEL BLOCK (except TAS Rogue) ]

Good morning, hope you all had a good night’s rest.

As per the rule I just announced yesterday, since Rogue decided to reveal, and thus forfeit her task, you’ve all failed. I believe in a strong, supportive group dynamic, but twice now, Rogue has acted selfishly and has damned all of you in the process. But since I’m all about choices, I’m going to give you two. If you want to get back in the game and make your own efforts worth something, you must choose to do one of the following:

A.) Walk to the next destination, without food, water or network access until you reach your location. You’ll have to leave right after Sunday’s show, to make it just in time. No sleep. No rest. Just walk right into the next performance. If you have tasks to complete beforehand, you might need to temporarily delegate them out. But your lost time won’t be counted against your own tasks in terms of completion or failure (Characters cannot post on Network between 6pm EST 6/18 and 8pm 6/19)

B.) You say the word, and the person you are assigned with receive an random injury, from mild to severe. You have no control over how badly the person will be hurt. But, if you agree, you won’t have to take the walk. It’s up to you whether or not you want to talk to his person, or just hurt them. Because they won’t find out, otherwise.
