It's sort of incredible what a few days of quality sleep and decent meals can do to put a man's head right again. I'm not sure I even realized how exhausted I was, but it was one thing to the next to the next with no time to pause in-between. Running on fumes.

Reminds me of the old days of long-haul jobs when autonav was still unreliable as shit and you had to either have a droid to work the controls or sit at the panel for five days straight and watch for errant debris fields yourself. Slamming out of hyperdrive into an asteroid field that was absolutely not there the last time you ran this route is disorienting on a good day, but it's nightmarish on day four of sleep deprivation when you're not even entirely certain it's real anymore.

Is anyone else incredibly uncomfortable working with known terrorists? From what I gathered, combined, they slaughtered the entire Hosnian system — every planet in it — along with Alderaan, Jedha, and Scarif.

I am not comfortable sitting on this. Bail, Mon Mothma — we started the Rebellion to keep evil from taking over the Galaxy. I feel like it's imperative that we do not sit by. I'm not suggesting all out war, of course, but I've noticed that people have flocked to them. Redemption cannot be won by begrudgingly hosting dinners or emceeing an evening properly. I have seen nothing to suggest that any of them are interested in anything other than exerting their power over others.

I only ask that we consider keeping an eye on them. What we say is not always the truth, and while we always strive to be truthful and good, the opposition knows this as our weakness. I had not intended to stir the pot, as they say, but I cannot overlook this with more Imperial and First Order leaders arriving.

Honestly, I've seen more fabric on cantina girls in the Outer Rim than what I'm wearing right now.

Not only that, but you bring me out here for two days to do absolutely nothing useful whatsoever. Exactly what purpose is that meant to achieve? Quality bonding with my peers? What peers?

The management of this place certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't like seeing another countdown, especially because the last one involved a volcano, but I'll admit I'm almost slightly disappointed. As much as I would love a shower, we're finally getting halfway decent at our act, to the point where I was actually enjoying it.

How do you find the food to your liking?

I do not know who was performing this task before it was assigned to me. I have downloaded the files provided upon my arrival. I have practiced the technique of chopping, boiling, and frying the ingredients provided in a manner that is clean and safe for consumption. I have prepared the meals so that the nutritional values fall within a balanced range of human digestive requirements.

Yet there has been criticism.

Well that was horrifying and I'm not sure what we think that chaos accomplished. But I think it did show that when we come together as a group, we're capable of great power.

But we don't think violence is the answer, do we? If we lose ourselves, why bother fighting at all? I doubt our scientist captors are deterred by it.

No. If we want to show them our power, we become as useless as possible to them. Don't do our jobs. Give up on our silly little "goals." Hit them where it hurts and rob them of any data.

Eventually they'll maybe even get bored enough to let us go home.

Now that I've optimized the flea circus to the best of my modest mechanical ability, I find I'm getting rather bored.

Well, I made it through the first night, somehow. It's just good the outfit isn't a tight one...was a little worried, I've always been pretty modest.

That is admittedly a dangerous trick...just hoping things don't change on me too much

I have been informed that the people responsible for this is not the Empire. I am inclined to believe them. It is much to creative for them. I have taken time to read through this Network and there seems to be a lot of information - if a lack of answers - so I'll save myself from repeating them.

Instead I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Mon Mothma. I have as you imagine just arrived here. I have noticed there's some people from my world here, it is good to see familiar faces.

In relation to this Circus, I'm told that I am working as a Mechanic and shall be staying in the 10th carriage. I look forward to getting to know all of you. Also are we expected to wear the clothing that has been provided? Looking at it I'm not sure how suitable it is to my job.

Everyone, you have 24 hour to plan your act. Our first performance is Wednesday evening. Before we begin, we need to establish timing, performance schedule, and who knows what they are doing. And whether anyone needs to be removed from the schedule for the good of the group.

I have been watching you train. I see promise in some of you. Others seem to take this less serious, which I understand given the situation. But if you want to eat, it need to change.

Evaluation schedule. You sign up with your group. We start at 6. If I not hear from you, I pull you out of bed and you perform then. I suggest you choose a time.
