Knowhere IC

Unfortunately the Med Bay has lost a couple of our doctors in the past week or so. It's back to myself and Dr. Caitlin Snow for the time being. Dr. Bruce Banner and Sam Wilson have been stepping in lately as well, which is greatly appreciated. Hopefully the universe decides to send us some more doctors in the very near future. I hate being understaffed like this.

So was that where all the dust bunnies went after we cleaned them, or where all the dust bunnies went if we DIDN'T clean them? I'm trying to understand the moral of the story here. I swear, it's almost as if not every story has some moral lesson behind it. Huh.

Anywho. I'm glad everyone's safe, and I got to punch dust bunnies in the face, which is actually a thing I thought I'd never check off on my list of 'weird things Spider-Man's done this week'. But I did. It was kind of nice being Spidey again.

Also, Cosmo, if you have anymore little dimensions on you could you let the rest of us know now? I think I'm still suffering the caffeine shakes from all that coffee.

Has everyone made it to the town? I showed up not too far from it, so it was an easy hike.

There are life-sized bugs here. Not aliens, but actual bugs. I've seen fleas and ticks so far. I'm not sure what else there is. There's a group of people here too. They said they've been here for a long time and have agreed to help us figure out how to live here. They're making it sound like we're never going to get out of this place and I'm a bit freaked out about it? I asked how long they've been here and apparently it's been so long they don't even know. Time works differently here maybe.

When I mentioned Knowhere and Cosmo an older woman perked up. I guess she knew Cosmo, said he saved her life, but he's also the reason why they're here? I couldn't get anymore than that out of them. Maybe someone else can.

Either way, they said if you keep moving toward the lights on the horizon you'll find the town. We'll be safe here for now.

Now that I'm truly terrified

I'm packing up materials to set up a triage station planet-side. I'll be taking it over in the RIV with Cosmo and co, but I could use some help getting everything from Med Bay to the docks. We'll be in need of someone to run it with me as well. Sam? Bruce? Anyone else? I believe Caitlin is going to hold down Med Bay here on Knowhere.

Please, everyone, be safe out there. It would be my sincerest wish that no-one gets hurt at all and I am deemed completely useless in the field, but I don't think that will be the case this time.

I have a box full of biotic injections that I will make available to you at the RIV planet-side. Take one, inject yourself if you get hurt and call for help. I will be there as soon as I can.

That was ... not fun. Can we not do that again? Never sounds like a lovely time to ever do that again.

Although it was not a game I was familiar with, I did enjoy it. As I put a few things on the table, I shall also offer them for a wider public. To those who wish it, I will offer training in either the martial styles I know, or the lightsaber forms. I can translate those to normal swords easily, although there is one I know that I will teach on a case by case basis. I have hesitations about that one.

I know I have promised language lessons, and for those I can be found within the Palace whenever it is convenient. I do not know how the lessons regarding the Force might translate, as I have never been a philosopher. I can teach meditation skills, and a way to keep one's mind closed off.

Thanks for hosting the poker game the other night, Commander. I had a hell of a lot of fun and nearly made it to the finals. So let's see... I owe Shepard a date, I've won a date with Remy LeBeau, and also I get a nice meal cooked by Doc Mercy for 2. Not too bad!

Things are finally starting to settle down in the Med Bay and I think I will go get some rest now.

I wanted to offer a couple of biotic injections for the mission first though, just in case. We don't know what those nasty aliens are up to and the time is ticking. If you were injured in the field you may be familiar with them already, but it's a concoction of my own invention and accelerates the healing process. If those two are in any kind of shape it will keep them well enough to get them back to us at the Med Bay. I'll leave them on my desk, please feel free to grab them for the mission, but I can hardly keep my eyes open at the moment.

This is Rescue calling for medical assistance on top of The Nebulous Wrench. The Iron Man suit was shorted out somehow and Tony fell out of the sky. He's been impaled on... on god, I don't know what. I'm afraid to move him. If this thing is removed he'll bleed out. Send immediate evac.

Not that I don't appreciate the suggestion of career choices from whoever left it but A: I think Smithing's a little outside my range of skills, despite my Heritage. Why would you even separate me from McDonald's? I was at camp all year and I can only eat that many marshmallows and my personal chauffeur drives too fast for me to eat my fries in peace and I just placed the order and my boyfriend is not even here. I think I deserved to eat some McDonald's fries in peace, because college is happening. Was happening. And I was surrounded by burly men in cowboy boots and hats and guitars.

And I haven't even heard a prophecy about this space head but are you sure it's not a Titan because I do think that some of them can get this big if they decompose. Still prefer their asses to be in Tartarus, but hey. Space. Do I need a space suit? Will this be like Alien or is it like Firefly or the Mythomagic in space expansion? I'm afraid that those who went to Earth have been brought back this evening and are in the medical area being treated for varying, but serious, symptoms. We're still working out exactly what happened. They can receive visitors, but for now just for limited stretches and one visitor at a time, for tonight. That may be adjusted for tomorrow, once we see how they're doing.

You know you've found the rough shit when most of the work you pick up is "deliver this parcel without fucking dying".
