I'd like to ask how promotions work here? I believe one is in order for York. How he handled the recent situation makes me believe he's earned it. Is that something we collectively decide or do we approach Cosmo?

I'm willing to stay unless there are other volunteers but I do think at least one of us should.

Tribbles have managed to cause multiple power outages in the Med Bay. (There's a sentence I never thought I'd write.) Are there any generators around or someone willing to head to Earth and pick one up for us? We should probably have a couple generators here in case of emergency anyway.

My name is George Mason, I'm from Earth in the early 2040s, and I'm new here.

Things that should be known about me:

• I have a dormant infection called Kellis-Amberlee which is highly unpleasant, and results in zombification. Therefore it would be in everybody's best interest. It only spreads via contact with infected tissue or fluids, so talking to me is fine (If you want to do it in person for some reason), but I believe everybody should know.


• I'm not insane for sitting in rooms with no lights on. I have an eye condition.

Things that I would like to know:

• How do I receive access to a pharmacy and (ideally) a medical lab as well as ophthalmology equipment?


• Is there anywhere here to ask for a loan? I have a medical condition that's going to make staying the barracks suck.


• Is there Coca-Cola here?


• Who here has no issue with shooting people in the head if it's necessary?

I'm going to sit in medbay for a while today. I don't know who's scheduled but you can probably do something else if you want.

Guess I need to start a new one now.

I've been hearing some strange stories coming out of Cosmo's pocket dimension, but the good news is we don't have to worry about anything like that happening again unless it's on purpose. Plus, more good news? A couple of people were rescued from the other dimension who had been there for years. I'm a little sorry I didn't get to see it for myself. Sounds interesting.

Is it normal around here for this amount to vanish? Cause last time I knew of a group vanishing it didn't end well for some of the people.

I've seen some of the names of people missing, but are there any others that haven't been pointed out as missing?

So I've been playing around trying to see if I can get my passport to operate on my webware, so it's all in one interface, but it's definitely not working. The technology in the passports is just fascinating. The programming it staking just a bit to get used to, I think I've got nearly all of it down, but it's definitely got some odd characters in it. Probably space stuff that's a bit beyond anything I've messed with on Earth.

Also I've heard, now that I've been here awhile, that this place is prone to some invasions of alien forces. Now I know we have a rather large amount of people who can handle themselves in the event of an attack, but that doesn't mean everyone can, nor does it mean everyone's completely protected. Back where I'm from, I actually created a bunch of non-lethal weaponry for SHIELD that I also used to operate more securely as Spider-Man. I would be willing to help design weapons of that sort for here, if anyone was willing to let me. It depends on the resources we have here of course, though if I can make a trip to earth, getting the nano-tech necessary for a large portion of my equipment wouldn't be... too hard.

But I don't want to do anything that steps on toes, disrupts balanced life here, or even makes people feel uneasy so I'm putting it out there first and foremost.

As Pepper pointed out, the passports aren't working. A couple of us are working on them, trying to figure out a way to create more and possibly add more features to them. No luck thus far and we've encountered a problem with the Continuum Cortex. We're in need of someone with X-Ray tech (or vision, is that a thing we have here?) to help us out for a couple hours. The stuff we have down in the Med Bay isn't portable, so no luck there.

The beds in Med Bay are full and we're understaffed. If you come in to visit a loved one, stay out of the way or help out. Any one of us can give you manageable tasks that will be a huge load off our shoulders.

[There is some strained groaning and yelling out in pain as Bruce undergoes his transformation.]

(OOC: Bruce won't be able to respond because he's currently Hulking out on some Reapers, but you can use this post to have your character's react. The guilt of so many injured coming in and him not helping defeat the Reapers finally got to him and he made an actual decision to go Hulk-mode. He won't be hurting any played characters this time though. A successful Hulking!)

Now that I'm truly terrified

I'm packing up materials to set up a triage station planet-side. I'll be taking it over in the RIV with Cosmo and co, but I could use some help getting everything from Med Bay to the docks. We'll be in need of someone to run it with me as well. Sam? Bruce? Anyone else? I believe Caitlin is going to hold down Med Bay here on Knowhere.

Please, everyone, be safe out there. It would be my sincerest wish that no-one gets hurt at all and I am deemed completely useless in the field, but I don't think that will be the case this time.

I have a box full of biotic injections that I will make available to you at the RIV planet-side. Take one, inject yourself if you get hurt and call for help. I will be there as soon as I can.
