Okay, folks. I've got building plans! Also someone who can hook us up with materials. Soon as I have the site finalized, we can get to work.

Yes, we. I don't have the money to hire builders, and I thought it would be more fun anyway if we made an event out of this. Has anyone ever been part of a barn raising? You don't have to actually raise the barn, though that would be nice. If you can feed everyone and make sure nobody keels over from forgetting to drink enough water, that'd be helpful.

If anyone that's got anything that's broken, or anything that needs reprogramming, I'm skilled, and rather bored.

So it's been a few days and I haven't woken up from this weird dream. Figure I might as well say hello, my name is James Potter. Lovely to meet you all. I'm sure my reputation precedes me, etc. Are there things a magical person such as myself needs to know about the non-magical space... world? If it's a world?

I'm thinking of taking a sick-day, maybe play hooky. I think something is wrong but I still kind of think it'd be fun to just sneak off for a day, you in?

So... apparently it was my birthday yesterday. I had kind of forgotten until my brothers reminded me. But hey, who could blame me with all the crazy going on? Except this isn't the only year I've forgotten it.

Good news is I am still reigning Mario Kart champion in my family. Better luck next time, Jay. You almost won but Rainbow Road is my domain!

So at the beginning of the week, I woke up with a few years' worth of memories from the afterlife. Good news is, being dead is not that bad after you get past the whole dying part. This morning, I got tangled in my own pant legs, tripped into the wall (sorry, that's going to need to be patched), burned my hand on a spaceship engine, and got trampled by my chocobo.

Did I make some mysterious Cetra god angry in and not get the memo? I thought I did a pretty good job with the whole "help Cloud save the world" mission, considering I was a ghost and all.

Fuck, it's cold. Doesn't look like there's actually much for me to do in medical right now so how about a hypothetical? Imagine you've been in the desert on deployment for three months. Apart from the obvious (beer, real food, etc), what on the floating head in space would you want to do?

I guess this means the monthly earth run is canceled too, right? I had a ton of medical supplies on that list for tomorrow. If we're going to have to wait a week or longer I'm afraid we'll run out. We're already running low from... well, all the injuries.

Does anyone have access to a ship that can head to Xandar or somewhere similar and pick up supplies? Earth, even. I'm afraid this particular list can't wait.

What's this I hear about building a barn? I think I might be of some help there.

Now that I'm truly terrified

I'm packing up materials to set up a triage station planet-side. I'll be taking it over in the RIV with Cosmo and co, but I could use some help getting everything from Med Bay to the docks. We'll be in need of someone to run it with me as well. Sam? Bruce? Anyone else? I believe Caitlin is going to hold down Med Bay here on Knowhere.

Please, everyone, be safe out there. It would be my sincerest wish that no-one gets hurt at all and I am deemed completely useless in the field, but I don't think that will be the case this time.

I have a box full of biotic injections that I will make available to you at the RIV planet-side. Take one, inject yourself if you get hurt and call for help. I will be there as soon as I can.

The last fight took two days, and from the looks of things the Reapers outgun and outnumber them by far. We're going to have to take passport sickness into account so we don't have to pull everyone back at once after three days and leave the place unguarded.
