So I will attempt to deflect my continued anxiety at the countdown with a collection of lighthearted jokes. With Remy's advice, I have constructed several humorous riddles that I wish to share.

Animal trainers! You work hard, trying to get those unwieldy animals to do what you want. You literally shovel their shit, too. I imagine it's very tough work.

Hey, I know you're probably exhausted from the walk and show and everything, but when you get a chance tomorrow, I need to talk to you about Friday's show.

Head's up, guys. I can feel the full coming up, so I wanted to let you know - I'm going to be pretty much out of commission Friday night.

It's funny, I spent so long being the only one from my world here that, when one of my crew shows up, it still hasn't really sunken in just yet. I feel guilty for being glad, because who wants the ones they love to be at the mercy of these scientists? Yet, I think the gladness is overwhelming the guilt. I feel lucky, and nervous, too, about controlling him.

[Han]

It's the wildcard. I'll bring him by to meet you once I get him settled. He's a huge fan.

How'd your son fare on his walk?

Being a contortionist is a rough gig, man.

I think my right foot grew back a little smaller than the left one after the last show.

I've never met you, but I know I'm in your block. I've been struggling with my hunger. I came to the first world with a few weeks until I needed a new brain. I could eat real food then, I was human. Then we went to the next world, and I was back to being a zombie and now it's been those few weeks.

These nightmares are only making it worse. I wake up, having to calm my adrenaline so I don't go zombie on everyone. I don't want to hurt anyone, and I don't want to lose my mind either. I don't suppose there's some way you could help me out? There's so many innocent people here.

Now that the Thomases have put their fingers in the holes in Christ's palms -- is there anyone else who wants to stop their nightmares? Skip a meal, bring it to me. Bring me your shoes. Items of value don't have to be about material worth, they only need to be an example of your sacrifice.

I seem to have landed myself a job that fits me like a familiar old pair of boots. And since there's so much comfort in that, I figure I could use all this spare time I'm going to have to see if anyone needs any help with their gig. After all, in my experience, these kinds of traveling shows are all one big con, designed to bilk people out of their hard-earned money and look damned good while doing it. If anyone knows anything about running a good con and looking good, it's me.

So if anyone needs a hand - or a Han - with anything, feel free to give me a holler. I'll be milling around. It appears that the very nature of my job is to mill around. I'm happy to be of whatever guidance I can be.
