I'm guessing the timer is probably proving a source of anxiety for some if not all of us. How is everyone holding up?

Also, not to be ungrateful for the fourth second chance at life, but what the fuck is this place? I expected the Shadowfell and I got something that looks like Percy's lab got lucky with Scanlan's mansion and puked up another realm the morning after. Which isn't the worst morning after, but it's weird. This is weird, right? That's not just me?

So Natasha, Wanda, and I spent most of last week working on building gardens, and I think they look really nice and have been satisfactorily completed, but we used 5 of 25 plots.

There's still a lot of work on the rest of the site that could be done by more talented gardeners, mages, and bureacrats. I'm not sure if the Jury has plans for future gardening details, though, but it's been expressed that it wouldn't be inappropriate to do what I'm about to suggest.

What stands out as priority is just filling it in. There are still 20 open graves on the grounds. And I'm not going to lie, that's a lot of work and can be as taxing psychologically as physically. But they're a safety and a morale hazard.

As a citizen, I want to commit to filling what I can, but if anyone wants to help fill them in, it would go a lot faster.

I hope people are willing to help, this is that invitation. But it will get done either way.

Due of my actions in the Arena, Commander Carter has removed my active status pending Retraining. I realize that I made egregious errors in judgement and support this measure as a move to help strengthen my instincts, resolve, and ethics as a soldier. Anybody else notice it's almost Halloween?

You are all cordially invited to my Welcome Soirée tomorrow evening, hosted of course by me, Tahani Al-Jamil. As you may know, my friends and I just recently arrived from the Good Place, an afterlife most perfectly designed by our esteemed friend and mentor Michael the architect. Isn't he just charming? We are of course quite honored by everyone's hospitality, and the understanding shown to our dearest Jianyu who cannot speak due his vow of silence. The close quarters will take some getting used to, but what better way than to get to know all our lovely neighbors and hopefully new friends we'll be sharing this delightful experience with?

Hi, everyone. My name's Michael. I'm usually on the other side of this sort of thing, so you'll have to forgive me - I'm still getting my bearings. And it's such fun - when you're an immortal, all-powerful custodian of the afterlife, you don't run across the new and unfamiliar every day, so this is just - it's really neat. I'm really looking forward to spending time with humans, as a human, just ... sleeping in bunk beds, standing in lines, abiding by the laws of time, the whole thing. It'll be like a sleepover. And I know it'll be absolutely invaluable for my work back home.
