How important is the separation of church and state to all of you?

It has become more than apparent to me in my last 24 hours here that I'm not actually dreaming I'm not just out of my element, I'm also apparently several centuries outside my own time.

That being said, I could use some help.

Thankfully the automatic latrines were easy to figure out, but I still don't trust them.

I assume the mechanical waterfall is for bathing? Where is the soda? A place to make soap?

These boots are ....difficult. Why is the heel so bulky? Why does the other pair have bodice strings but no ankle support? And these clothes wouldn't last a single fall down a wooded ravine.

And the lace...things? What is the purpose of the wire pieces sewn into the fabric? Are they weapons? How do I remove them?

Open question: how long does it take to get used to this shit?

I've recently learned something that has lead me to question a conversation that we had some time ago. Perhaps you can help put my mind at ease.

Do you really see me as a jewel among women, Robin? Or was that compliment a ruse to prevent me from hindering your chances of successfully completing your task?

Are we certain that the people here are not real? This morning, walking through the area, I found two children crying over rubble. It turns out, their parents were killed during a raid last night. I helped them to a shelter. There was nothing contrived in their grief.

I've been thinking.

Which - I mean, would probably suggest that the gate that comes down to keep the people who didn't pass their tasks from accessing the mountain isn't all that strong. I'd put money on the fact you could probably break it.

Since tonight is, I believe, our last night here, and we don't know where we'll be going after this, I'd say we should all get to know one another around the fire tonight. I mean the alternative to some sort of bacchanal is, what, going to our trains and having more dreams? It hardly seems up for debate.

And if anyone needs to say some bizarre things for no discernable reason, I'm sure we'll as a group look the other way.

I seem to have hit a small snag.

Any gents who have a pair of long trousers left over from that picnic want to swap out some clothes with me? I can't work with any of this sparkly shit and this short nonsense I had back there isn't going to cut it either.

Trousers have been located, and thank Luck too. That's one problem solved. But there's a fellow here looking for one of those feathery blue hats if any of you ladies have one that you're willing to part with.

Also, mechanics? I heard there were mechanics running around here. We need to have a quick chat, you and me. I need to borrow some of your tools for about an hour. Final touches and all.

I think I need to make some sort of headdress for my horse.

So how crowded is your car? Because I've been debating moving. And that's probably not just a lie to continue camping with you.

While it wasn't the shipwreck I had been hoping for I did manage to stumble across a small bag of medical supplies. It appears to be for animals but I'm sure we'll find use for most of the items within.

Seeing as we have someone in dire need of these supplies I will be taking the bag North towards the camp at the fork. I'm not heartless so if there is a need for antiseptic and bandages I will stop and leave them at the beach camp.

Anyone who wishes to make the journey North is more than welcome to join me. Though time is of the essence and I won't wait long for you to decide.

Since eating monkeys is generally a bad idea, a few of us have elected to stay down by the section of the river that hits the ocean. There are reliable food and water sources here - because made a net out of my plastic pants.

A few people rafted over here from the island, and I think there's a couple that walked over from the other beach, but if anyone wants a change of scenery, here we are.
