Hello? I'm Tina Goldstein, I've just arrived here. I have to say that while I'm familiar with New York, having grown up there, this is nothing quite like the New York that I remember from home. I'm told it's nearly a hundred years into my future which is truly quite astonishing.

Also it was months until December.

I really don't know what to make of this, it's not quite what I expected from leaving Newt to going back home.

For thirty-seven months I have tracked the pianist Jan Jarmoskowski through eastern and central Europe. The odd occurrences continue. Three murders in Prague. Two disappearances in Bucharest. (note: Why is it always Bucharest?)

As of yet, no one will tell me why they refuse to have him back to their town once he takes his leave, yet refuse to detain him. There is nothing the connects him to any of these mysterious happenings. Jarmoskowski leaves more than destruction in his wake, he leaves darkness and he leaves fear. One can only imagine what he'll be leaving here, in Novi Grad.

Tonight he performs his hypnotic music for Thomas Newcliffe and his guests. I will be watching.

Hi, everyone. My name's Michael. I'm usually on the other side of this sort of thing, so you'll have to forgive me - I'm still getting my bearings. And it's such fun - when you're an immortal, all-powerful custodian of the afterlife, you don't run across the new and unfamiliar every day, so this is just - it's really neat. I'm really looking forward to spending time with humans, as a human, just ... sleeping in bunk beds, standing in lines, abiding by the laws of time, the whole thing. It'll be like a sleepover. And I know it'll be absolutely invaluable for my work back home.

Which I'd love to get back to, but - they can spare me for a century or three. I've got some vacation stored up. Gosh, I can't wait to just ... hang. That's what you guys like to do, right? Hang? Elbows, knees, ankles? Tell me everything. Let's have a really excellent time together.
