Well, at least the dragons here are a curious sort. I have greatly enjoyed this aspect of being here.

I'm pretty glad that we managed to at least win one questing thing.

I'm ready for something a little more mundane with a lot more pancakes involved. I guess I could make pancakes here, though. I just haven't tried it out.

It sucks that Ned's not here. Ned would have loved this. He was the best Dungeon Master ever.

Also it doesn't suck that Ned's not here, because then he'd be stuck here for all of the other stuff we have to do. But he would love, like, this brief two-weekish period of us being here. He'd love that. And then hate almost everything else. So I guess it's probably not worth it. Also please don't interpret this as a request for Ned. Not that I don't miss Ned, just Ned wouldn't want to be here. Probably. Most of the time. And since i said that now I'd kind of feel like maybe it was my fault he showed up. Especially if he showed up right after I said he'd like it.

Also if Ned ever comes here please don't tell him I said this.

Well, I don't know. I'd probably tell him. I'd feel too guilty that he didn't know. Like that weird movie with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence on the space ship where he wakes her up in space because he falls in love with her while she's asleep in her sleep pod which is creepy and weird and not really what loving someone even is. Like you can't be in love with someone you don't know, you're just infatuated with them. it's not really the same. I mean, I think. I don't know. I'm not a love expert. But it seems like that wouldn't really be love, though. At least it wasn't in that movie. So like, he wakes her up and he doesn't tell her he woke her up and then she catches feelings for him. Except it's basically stockholm syndrome. And then later she finds out he lied and she's mad but then she gets over it which just seems really unrealistic because that's just not a cool thing to do to somebody. But anyway it seems like if I didn't tell Ned that I brought him here it would be Chris Pratt levels of creepy. Even if it was an accident. And even though I'm not in love with Ned or anything. Like I do LOVE Ned, it's just not like that. We've known each other since kindergarten. I've seen too much.

Anyway you guys don't know Ned. But he's not here, and he likes Dragons.

And I'm Peter. In case you didn't know that either.

I think Dragons are fine.

As someone who has spent a not inconsiderable amount of time contemplating how best to utilize a large cast of background actors to fill out and give just the right feel to an intricately created setpiece - I don't know about these villagers. Honestly - I don't want to be that guy.

But I'd have some notes for the barkeep I just spent the evening with. Talk about low energy.
