Maybe if we leave food out, the animals will go into boxes. Like maybe chicken wings. Except then some animals don't eat meat, so maybe peas or carrots or something.

Or we can set up traps with explosives and trap animals in holes so they can't get out. Or just dig holes in the ground and hide them like they do in the movies.

I can officially mark "catching a monkey" off my bucket list. It's a lot easier than catching a lot of other things I've had to catch, in hindsight. But I still don't ever want to do it again.

There is either a goat or a Faun near the Delacorte Theatre, based on the footprints I spotted. Someone should go after it, if they can. I'm still tracking down a Leopard to try and get Sharon out.

it’s my fault that hotel punished everyone.

i let the animals out the night of the ball, because i thought they’d attack the scientists and then we could get away. i stole amos’ wire-cutters and talked river into coming with me to watch out.

i was stupid and proud, and it got everyone else in trouble. no one deserved to be punished but me.
