So, this is a little short notice, and a little unorthodox, but...

I'd like to invite everyone to a wedding and/or reception, next Wednesday, May 20th. Stevie and I are going to get married, and anyone who'd like to is welcome to join us!

You can come to both parts or if you just want to come for the party that's fine too. It's going to be in the large park, ceremony starting about 10, party at 11 with lunch around noon. Attire is casual and while we'll have lunch and cake and drinks, if anyone who comes wants to bring a side dish or something special, it'd be greatly appreciated. There will be plenty of kids and some stuff for them to do so definitely bring them along too.

Anyone else still up? Could use a food run for the hospital if anyone happens to be out and about.

Though it's a little bit early, in honor of mother's day this year, and all of the new arrivals and soon-to-be arriving, I've decided to declare the children's ward in the hospital officially open. It's been over a year in the making and I've had a lot of help, but I think it's come together really well. With some luck we won't need to use it much, but hopefully when we do, having a place just for them will make it all a little less scary (or boring) for the kids.

If anyone needs or wants it, Stevie and I want to offer to watch anyone's kids tonight. I've been training the past 3 years to be a pediatric nurse and both of us grew up around and with tons of kids so I can promise everyone will be safe and cared for.
