So... That was a really really long nap. How's everybody doing?

I'm in the need of some willing participants. I need some women for Brenna, and some men for Dan...

But first anyone that is going to attend my daughter Brenna, and soon to be son-in-law, Dan's wedding would you please come through the door, and come to the palace. This will be a week long celebration, because we are doing it as close to Norse tradition as we can, so pack for staying at the palace for a week. The Allmother has had the rooms prepared already.

As for what I need the men and the women for. We must prepare the bride and the groom for their coming nuptials. And the men must dig up a sword I buried.

It'll be a week full of merriment, I promise.

Edit: I use the terms men and women loosely, women can join the men and men can join the women in their rituals.

asgard has the most wonderful fabrics and wool so that the clothes i make will have to be beautiful because of what they are made from, and any skills i have will not matter. and the food i cook will be delicious because of the ingredients, and nothing to do with anything i do. if i bought livestock here i fear they may even herd and tend to themselves though i have yet to see a cow milk herself or a sheep shear its flock. who knows, for this is asgard and the gods walk here

i am bored. despite all the excitement this is a dull place. so I propose a tournament. let us test our skills in duels of the sword. no supernatural abilities are allowed only skill. if you cannot fight without them and still wish to fight you can have a league of your own. Ww can hold two separate tournaments.

i would also like to thank my sister astrid who will so gracefully volunteer to provide the catering. she is not aware of this just yet. i would welcome suggestions for a price too. i have little things of value.

Just to let everyone know, this Friday (Dec. 20) will be the last day before winter break. We'll take some time off between then until Monday Jan. 6th.

The little's playgroup will continue as usual except for Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 31-Jan. 2. Any of the kids too old for this group normally, but too young to be on their own, will be welcome to join in during the break. Mary Ellen has some little holiday crafts they can do and some games that everyone will be able to play.

If any teachers want to host extra classes during break, just let me know and I'll put them on the schedule.

Alright Ladies, gentlemen and everything in between, all of you are invited. Invited to what you ask? Well as some of you know, Miguel and I have been engaged for almost a year, and usually there is a ceremony that comes after that. Well this would be it.

It's going to be held December 11th the ceremony will held in the park of the 3rd wheel, and the reception will be directly after.

Now when I say all of you, I mean every single one. New, old, young, and well aged. There isn't a single soul on this station that I would not love to see there.

So, since it seems like more and more kids are coming all the time, and more and more kids are reaching school age, I've been doing some organizing for the school.

We decided to split everything in to 4 basic groups so that there aren't lots of classes with only one or two kids per group. It'll be a bit more like one-room schoolhouses than modern education for those familiar with the systems from Earth.
Littles (under 5)
Basics (5-8)
Formal (9-16 or anyone who didn't have a formal education where they're from and wants one)
Continuing (add-on classes for anyone)

I've gotten together a few extra classrooms so there will be regular places for the two younger groups and one for each of the older ones, though I know some of the teachers for the older groups have their own spaces too (and some need to take place outside of classrooms) so those ones can move around as needed.

Obviously, this is a massive group effort and we can tailor it as-needed so if anyone has anymore suggestions for classes they'd like or feel like they need or things they want to teach, just let me know and we can figure it out.

We can start Monday after next to let all the new kids get settled first.

Right. Well, this isn't normal. My name is Dan Foster, and I do not belong here. Now, it seems like I am not the only one that's been put in this situation. So, would anyone mind telling me how I wound up here? And how I can get back?

Oh and one more thing. Might be a bit risky asking this here, but it's not like I've got much left to lose, eh? How safe is this place from the cult of Leviathan?

I have been informed that it is "basic witch" season so I'm pulling out all of the pumpkin spice, apple, and maple things at the cafe. It's all first come first serve and will be a random assortment each day based on what I have time and ingredients for, but if you really want something let me know ahead of time and I'll try to make extra.

Also looking for some counter help if anyone is interested? Once the snow shows up it tends to get a bit busier and I'd like some time to get you trained and comfortable with all the machinery. Could also teach some of the baking if anyone is interested. Was considering doing a few evening events with things like hot cider and mulled wine and live music or classes of some sort too, so would need a few extra hands.
