I don't know if I should be annoyed or exalted that mine are not among the parental figures being brought to the island.

I guess I should just be glad that it's not paying attention to it's mistake of bringing me back in time, as I contemplate my demise, being nice isn't usually on it's lists of things to do.

Since Eames is gone, and he had done some excellent work getting the art store/gallery up to standard, and I should really try having a studio that is not just my apartment, I have taken over, and I'm excited to reveal something of a timetable of events. If we're stuck here, we might as well settle

The back of the store is going to be used as a gallery, where other islanders may come and see what work the students are creating (you can currently view Eames' work and my own here). We can work towards exhibitions and such, and if anyone wanted to "hire" the space for their own events, you would be most welcome.

I will be there regardless of whether one person turns up, or ten, or none- so just pop in. Materials supplied. Tea also supplied.

If anyone else would like to hold a class (of any art at all), please get in touch and I will add you to the timetable, which will also be displayed in the shop window if you're passing and want a reminder. If you just want to come in and use the materials/studio space without taking a class, you are welcome at all of the "free" times to do so.

Printmaking coming soon... once I have the equipment. Also looking for volunteer life drawing models.

The next few months are a fair busy time for me, and I could be using an extra pair of hands or two at the mill and croft. Anyone able-bodied and looking for work?
