I picked the wrong time to take a nap.

What's with the new decor?

Making friends, I see.

We've had reports that there are birds here that can mimic the voices and screams of people you might know. So don't go following them. I can't imagine they'd lure you to anything friendly.

We have limited supplies in the centre of the island. If you're experienced with weapons other than firearms, we need you. And we'll need you in groups, because whoever's in charge is a prick and didn't leave nearly enough water bottles or packs. Or rations, if we're going to be here for more than a day. So we'll need people who can to hunt and fish. We have supplies to start fires. I'll distribute them to the groups and keep some here. We'll pick an area on the inner shore of the main island for people gathering materials for a main fire. Remember, your phone has a compass.

There is also the issue of blood. Medical supplies are limited and best left for human emergencies, so we're going to have to ask for people who don't mind being bitten to donate if necessary. Vampires, please let me know if you're starving. It's not like you could plan for this.

If any of you come across anything particularly nasty and manage to get yourself away from it, please have the courtesy to tell the rest of us about it. Doctors Banner and Watson, if you head to the centre of the island, I'll show you what we've got to work with.

What is this place? Fury? Anyone?

Well, not to be a pest, but this is really rather inconvenient. If this is some kind of odd kidnapping ploy I'd like to point out now that I am a member of the British government and I will be missed.

On the other hand, if this is all a terrible mistake and I have been accidentally misplaced, is there anyone out there who could possibly inform me as to my location? I'm sure I can find some information relevant on these odd gadgets that seem to be suddenly in my possession, but there's nothing like a personal explanation, is there?

Also, could someone point me in the direction of somewhere I could get some tea or coffee, it's past lunch time and I'm feeling a little on the peckish side.
