They're lazy jerks. Eating all the food and pissing off security. I'm tired of trying to be nice to rude people.

To be fair, Maryanne, they're kids. Kids who've had a more privileged upbringing than a lot of us, I'd imagine. And we both know that finding yourself in a new world isn't easy. But being defensive is.

Cutler, I know you wouldn't have gotten away with half the stuff she said to me, and I know I sure as hell wouldn't have either. I would have had my teeth slapped right out of my head for talking to an adult like that. I don't know what your Momma would have done.

Where do they get off? I'm not their parent, I shouldn't be the one saying you don't talk to your elder like that.

I do know that Maryanne, but I also know times have changed. Not necessarily for the better, but that's not entirely their fault. That's the fault of their parents, which you're right, you shouldn't have to be. But I don't think telling them to GTFO is really going to help things. Especially when they can't. But I think you probably need to calm down, no more than she does mind you, but you have something more important to worry about at the moment.

I'm twenty-five Cutler. I also come from the year 2017. So it's not that changed.

I don't see why they can't. Anyone can build a boat. Or a raft. But you're right. I do have other more important things to worry about.

Am I wrong to just write them off?

It has for me. I saw a mother apologise to her child for taking 'too long' in Tesco while he was ramming their trolly into the shelves.* And that's not the first time I've seen a parent apologise to their child when it was being a little shit. I was a little shit at times and I can safely say that no one apologised to me for it. Nor for what I got for it. Haven't you watched World's Strictest Parents?

I don't think now is the best time to be testing the waters. Nor is it the best time to be writing them off. When things change back, I'd suggest seeing if they will listen after they've calmed down. So we can at least properly explain the predicament we're in here. If they're still difficult, still unwilling to listen or help, then maybe they should be on their own.

*(OOC: It was safeway, but that's a TRUE STORY.)

Ugh me too. My kid is not going to be like that. While I'm not going to be anything like my parents, and Daryl's an awesome Daddy already, I'm not going to let my son run over people either. But no.. I didn't see World's Strictest Parents... Didn't need to Pops was a jackass enough for me.

I'm not going to them. They an come to me, but I'm not giving them a second shot at my backside. But I will start locking the door to the restaurant again. Pretend it's to keep the critters out.

It's actually not quite what it sounds like. It's about kids with no discipline being sent of to families/places with a lot more of it. Probably shouldn't admit that the episodes I've caught are oddly satisfying.

Okay. I'll try when Lord of the Flies the Arena is over.

Oooooh, seems like it'd be right up my alley at the moment. Cause there's a few I'd damn all and haul over my knee and beat their butts till they couldn't sit for a week.

Thanks Nick. For everything.

I'll see if I can find you any of it when we get our computers back. And everything else. Priorities.

You're welcome. How are those more important things doing?

Awesome. It might take my sudden need to beat the shit out of stuff.

I think he's sensing that I'm off a little off kilter. He's kinda fussy except when I sing to him.

On to the next crisis though. What can I do about the Damons and Dean? I can't just... let them tear him apart. Hunter or not he's still just human.

Hopefully you've got your lullabies down. Probably time to step away from all of this though.

Hopefully we can get them to realise that all it's going to do is perpetuate more trouble for them and those close to them. I know logic doesn't always win out in these situations, but it's worth an attempt.

Hah, he likes harder stuff than that. Probably shouldn't have listened to Megadeath so much. But yes, if someone else would start standing up I would love them for a long long long time.

I worry about you and Mitchell getting caught in the crossfire, and poor George. Or Nina.

At least you won't have to worry about upsetting him with it then.

I worry about me too, which is why I would like to see a more peaceful resolution to all of this.

Exactly. And it means if I turn it up when Lynyrd Skynyrd says to he probably wont even wake up.

Yeah me too... I guess I'm too used to less than peaceful resolutions.
