I looked it up online, and apparently, Riolu evolves into Lucario with a strong friendship. I mean, I guess that's what happened. Ace very rarely leaves my side.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who helped during these last few weeks while the Resettlement Bureau was getting on its feet. The primary goal of the organization is simple: greet new arrivals and set them up with what they'll need to get on their feet here. That means paperwork, helping them acclimate to Tumbleweed and Earth, finding their housing. The secondary goal is to study the portal, to see if there is a way we can figure out its agenda, where it came from, how to stop certain creatures from coming through or at the least, being prepared when they do.

These are now paid positions. If you were volunteering before, just come see me if you want to transition to paid.

Tiny, I wanted to thank you for establishing the food bank. I'd like to work directly with you to help those who first arrive who won't have a paycheck for a week or so. The Resettlement Bureau can help, but you've already got that in place and it would help foster relations with others. Do you have plans to make it an actual charity?

Tony (and Tiny), any ideas on a time frame for the reactor?

If nothing else, I kind of miss the karaoke.

Alright, so we need two sets of round the clock patrols. One's for the perimeter for the Fort Neill Military Base and one is for the portal room itself, even if we can't get into it right now.

We need volunteers. Shifts will be six hours long, so double what we were doing for patrols back on the ship. 18+ for right now. Comment to the shift that you want. Specify days if you can't do every day. We need powerful and uninjured fighters right now, so if you don't fit the bill, there's plenty of other things you can help with. Right now, we can't pay you, but we'll figure out something to make sure you're taken care of.

Right, so this is a big ask considering it's me asking, but I don't really trust anyone else or know them well enough to ask them for this - I need a new arm. My old one is fried from the EMP and I've been armeless since. I was going to ask Shuri, but she's in a new world, dealing with plenty enough, and I really don't know her. And I guess I really don't know you too, but I've known enough Tony Starks in my lifetime to know your capabilities.

If you don't want to do this, I get it and don't hold it against you. Ignore this if you need to. I won't ask again.

Military base is secure. We've determined there's no contagion. These people, unfortunately, were killed by something. Still unknown. We're digging through digital files, but I'm not that hopeful. 1999's idea of digital video is grainy at best, unwatchable at worst. Especially given that these are security cameras. Could use some help if someone wants to figure out the labeling system they've given these files. There's only one computer so three people in eight hour shifts. Trust me, those 8 hours are going to feel like 48. Bring music to listen to.

The power's back on. What we weren't expecting was that the entire building has a No Powers restriction on it. Electricity's on, no power. Power's off, abilities on. The building itself only vaguely resembles the layout from before. There's less medical facilities — all of it is emergency-related, and a curiously fresh batch of vaccines. Containers look a hell of a lot like the ones we got on the ship. Anyone want to come and test it to make sure it is what it says it is? Medical area has a bunch of pictures from the space pox we gave them in the 1950s as a warning.

There's a dated computer by the one room we can't get into. My guess would say that's the portal room, but why it's on lockdown, I couldn't say. Either the thing that killed them is locked down in there or they didn't want to risk the portal being accessed by the wrong people. No surveillance cameras are working at the moment. All but one of them have been destroyed by claw marks or bite marks. I'm not hopeful this thing didn't get out. Several exits have been compromised.

First things first, thanks Tony for setting up the food fundraiser. Unfortunately, money leads into my second point: we're going to need a lot of money to get this up and running again. We have no idea when any new arrivals might show up, what condition they'll be in, or how to figure out where and how their housing turns up. It's a logistical nightmare.

The first Pokemon I caught was Goomy, so I'm SET, dudes. Dragon type? Hell yeah. Keep your fairies away from me. Violet would have loved this

I know this is never an easy topic to talk about, but if anyone needs help making funeral arrangements, or at least planning a memorial service, and doesn't feel comfortable doing it themselves, I am more than happy to offer my services. I know that a loved one's death can be particularly painful, and doing that sort of thing on your own can be extremely difficult.

Alright, with the pirates moving the hell on and the ship back in operating order we need to figure out a few things.

How many of ours are hurt?
Do we got any sort of numbers? I know the medbay seemed to be pretty dang packed when I was down there. The robots seem to be back online to work with fixing people but medical personnel what else are y'all needing? Should we continue triage in a separate area for more minor injuries y'all can deal with?

From the doctors: Small things that just need an antiseptic, sutures, or ice and rest can be done in the adjacent areas

Does every kid got someone to go home to right now?
If not we're gonna need to pair them up with people if'n their parents/guardians are hurting. Or keep up the school being a place for them to stick to. If we do that we're gonna need others to stay down there with them.

We'll keep kids at the school until one of their guardians is able to come and retrieve them. Or someone in their guardians place.

The shops on this ship have a pretty good selection as far as clothing goes. Not quite as high-end as what I'm accustomed to, but for now, they'll work. I'm not spending an entire cruise wearing the same outfit everyday.
