I never had a facebook or a myspace or any of those things so this is a fairly new ground for me. I can't say I love doing this but they said it is the best way to get to know everyone in the town. And now that I've settled into my apartment, well, I guess I've got the time.

I'd have been fine going the community college route, but having this bigger school in town that actually has the programs I'm interested in? This is my first official summer in this world and I feel like that means I should make the most of it, especially since it's just a few months until college and, if everything my teachers kept saying is anything to go by, it's apparently going to be tough. Doubt it

So, what are some typical things you should do during summer vacation? I've made note of all of the barbecues and that sort of thing, but what else? Any and all suggestions, please and thank you.

This place never fails to surprise me, and not even necessarily in the good way. Thanks for fixing the issue, though. As someone who doesn't understand or know how to use magic myself, it's nice knowing there are people in our community who know how to handle these sorts of situations when they arise. I don't like feeling like I can't do anything about these sorts of things myself, but I'm glad someone can, at least.

Something's wrong. I went over to Finnick and Annie's to meet up with Katniss and she's not there, and neither are Finnick or Annie. The kids are are, quite clearly distressed, and Katniss' bag is still here but looks like it's been searched. If I'm not reading too much into this, there are signs of a scuffle, like an overturned lamp? Maybe they're just out and the kids made a mess, but I know all three of them and they wouldn't leave the kids unattended--and if Katniss says she'll meet me somewhere at a certain time, she'll be there. So, something's wrong. Something's very wrong.

This town is so fucking pathetic. We have people using powers in front of them and they'll just believe any lie we tell them. I don't know if their stupidity is hilarious or troubling at this point.

It was pretty funny knocking a beer out of some guy's hand and running to a dead end, only to disappear on him. The look on his face was amazing, I totally took a picture of it.

I find myself wondering what to do here.

I wish the Farmer's Market was open every day. As much as I really like pizza and M&Ms, I've been really liking all of these berries for snacks.

I'm quite certain that someone, somewhere out in the cosmos, must really have a personal vendetta against me. So much so that they've thrust me through time just to evade my happiness. I am aware that it is unbecoming to luxuriate in one's sorrows but it is starting to feel quite ridiculous and as if I'm destined for solitude.

I was informed that this device allows me to communicate if I wish and I can ask questions. What disease is it that this settlement is concerned with that I must be sanctioned off from the populace? I assure you I've shown no symptoms of any of the common illnesses.
