You might've remembered the last time I wrote, I was complaining about a case I was assigned by the City. I didn't have to ask to be reassigned since I ended up leaving the town's law department to start my own private practice with Laurel and Harvey (and if that combination of names doesn't make you laugh, then you need to watch some old comedies). The case was turned over to somebody else, and I just heard that the guy decided to plead guilty to the charges.

Okay, ow. I know the memory dumps are supposed to be bad, but that was more intense than I expected.

Anyone maybe feel up for going to the Pokemon ranch with me for a little while this evening? Rascal likes to run around there, and he's really friendly and loves playing with other Pokemon, so we're always up for anyone to join us.

I really liked talking to a centaur, even if I can't really remember or understand what she was talking about. It's probably a bit like watching Shakespeare, for people who actually like Shakespeare.

We need a beach trip.

My Phantump appears to be sadder than usual. I think he misses being at the school with me. I think it's time to come up with some games to play with it.

Pokemon play date anyone? He's shy and skittish, but really excitable when he's found someone who likes him.

Getting turned into a deer to be hunted for sport and having to run for my life was not how I wanted to spend my night yesterday.

Why doesn't this town sell things people actually need?

Anybody want to go into a law partnership with me? I can't work for the City anymore. Yesterday I was appointed a case. Without giving details, he was guilty, plain and simple. He admitted he was. But I'm supposed to defend him in court. It's going against everything that stand for, and I'm ready to throw in the towel.

Gaby? Remember that rock you brought back for Knuckle? He loved it so much that he headbutted it until he learned a new move and shattered it. Now I have hundreds of smaller rocks all over my apartment. I think we need to get our Jangmo-o's together for a play date.

Anyone have suggestions for best places to apply for work around here for someone who's resume mostly involves fighting, time travel, and alien invasions? The Bureau, maybe?

[Laurel sounds really panicked, and due to the fact that her senses are now screaming at her, might not respond. Rascal the Rockruff can be heard barking in the background, worried for his owner.]

I'm blind...I can't see anything. But everything feels like it's on fire. I can hear everything, my nose feels like it's burning, and everything just feels...intensified.

Someone help me. Please.

Against my better judgement, I googled myself. I have some serious questions to ask alternate me:



Fishets. It's a leotard and fishnets. Sometimes a leather jacket. Like, I get where it helps for mobility, but her legs are totally exposed, as are her arms. It's sexy, but it's not practical at all.

I only really looked at the pictures. I debated checking the wikipedia page, but I'm good not knowing what her life is like, for now.

Rockruff ate my good shoes. I'd be more annoyed, if he wasn't so cute when I scolded him. Still, now I have to get new shoes.

But, he now has a name. I'd been trying to come up with a name for him. So after that, now he's Rascal. I think it suits him.

The Poké Ranch (ooc link) is done enough to use though there are still some things I need to finish, especially with converting the outbuilding and making a visible path to get there from the driveway onto the ranch. Right now it's sign-posted fine, you just have to walk across the grass to get there. Esmeralda and Jonathon have both tested it, even though Jonathon isn't a Pokémon.

The spa is nice. Haven't had much luck catching Pokemon so far, though. At the moment, I have what appears to be an aggressive looking kangaroo, some kind of blue water bug, and purple crab.

Well...this is new.

Given the restrictions on how many Pokemon we can catch (six) and how many we can keep (one, which is one more than I was worried it would be) I imagine a lot of people will be looking to trade for what they want. Apart from the "if you see one of these please catch it for me" posts where you want people to see the request but they don't necessarily need to remember at the time who wanted it, it will be a lot easier if we keep the information in one place so none of it gets lost and people don't miss out. You should be able to bookmark a post to come back to it quickly so you can stay up to date while we're here.

All you need to put is basic info - your name, what you want (a specific Pokemon, a type, whatever), and what you've managed to catch. That way we can skim through and see what matches up.

Unrelatedly, the dinosaur park is a tad underwhelming, but possibly worth it for amusement or the chance of finding legitimate fossils. Sometimes you can revive an ancient, otherwise extinct, Pokemon from them. (On that note, if anyone gets hold of a pterodactyl made of rock, hit me up.)

Alike the realm of fairy tales I plan to spend my week traveling to the different isles. I welcome any and all who wish to join me.

Alright, with the pirates moving the hell on and the ship back in operating order we need to figure out a few things.

How many of ours are hurt?
Do we got any sort of numbers? I know the medbay seemed to be pretty dang packed when I was down there. The robots seem to be back online to work with fixing people but medical personnel what else are y'all needing? Should we continue triage in a separate area for more minor injuries y'all can deal with?

From the doctors: Small things that just need an antiseptic, sutures, or ice and rest can be done in the adjacent areas

Does every kid got someone to go home to right now?
If not we're gonna need to pair them up with people if'n their parents/guardians are hurting. Or keep up the school being a place for them to stick to. If we do that we're gonna need others to stay down there with them.

We'll keep kids at the school until one of their guardians is able to come and retrieve them. Or someone in their guardians place.
