What if you just kept like [...] an inch? Half an inch? Or shave the sides and leave a short stripe down the middle?

Absolutely. I learned about it in a neighboring country to mine, but I usually find jewels in my own. So there's always some adapting. What kinds of jewels or colors do you like?

Yeah, most of them are just a bedroom on each side and the room in the middle. So the shared space might be the same size, actually.
