I think if it were up to Rose we would have a whole menagerie. She’s tried to bring in more animals than I can count at this point. I can’t really blame her, but we certainly don’t have the space for all of them at the moment. Good thing I’ve got my list started and appointments set up.

Thanks to the Bureau, I have a new flat that I've moved into. It's not bad, a bit nicer than the one I grew up in. At some point, I'm going to have to get around to decorating. I don't have a lot but the walls are looking a little bare.

I think I would much prefer more library stops than mall stops.

It seems a few of my potions have come with me, but not very much. So try to avoid serious injury if you can because I will be unable to do much besides minor healing at this time. If anyone wants to work out obtaining medical supplies while we are at the stops or knows the places we're going well enough to know if we can, then we'll work that out as we get places.

I've also found it unusual seeing the stars while in space. Though, none of them look familiar. I suppose that's to be expected. I doubt we're in a similar space.

With everything happening in town, and the recent departures, we've decided to forgo a party for Helena's birthday. We made this decision not long after my Uncle Percy left but hadn't discussed it publicly.

Being from the wizarding world, I’m used to seeing owls. It’s a natural thing. But since coming to tumbleweed, there hasn’t been an over abundance of owls in my daily life. While I appreciate the owls, I do think there’s such a thing as too much of a good thing. In fact, I think it’s a bit excessive now. I never knew there were so many owl things out there. I would greatly appreciate no more owls. Honestly, if I didn’t know better, I would think someone was playing a very poor prank.

The one thing I can say for the antique shop is that the beginning of a new year brings in new waves of people. I enjoy that it keeps me busy, and I like to see what people think are extra special treasures. Often times I find the research I do on one piece leads me to other interesting facts. I know we are only a few days into the new year, but I’ve been enjoying myself immensely.

Pity that nobody really celebrates Twelfth Night. Not like they used to.

Didn't think my first day on the job was going to result in talking down a delivery guy a Chilis during lunch time. I guess Grubhub employees really take their job seriously.

I know some of the people who witnessed it already gave their statement, but a few people left before we could get to them. If you were there, I'd love to talk to you for a few minutes.

I was looking for a Ford since I had read that it was one of the best, but I suppose the make of your Muggle vehicles matters little compared to the work behind it. But, I have gotten my hands on one at last, and I plan on doing some work on it.

Sidenote, I must say I may never get used to the fact that your old-fashioned method of taking photographs are completely static, but the Muggle way of getting around that is absolutely brilliant!

I think there’s only been one other time I’ve been this excited to see Crookshanks again!
