I'm not sure it really needs to be said, exctly, but I'm sticking around for a bit. Kind of figured that I like this place and it's not like they won't get me at home when they need me again eventually. So with that in mind...

I'm thinking of hosting a Fourth of July thing at my house this year. So if anyone's interested in that, let me know, yeah? I'm not really good at barbeque, so I'm hoping maybe somebody else is, but there will be plenty of cookies and chips and dips and fruit salad sorts of things, and I'm sure Tumbleweed will do something too, that we can enjoy later on on the fireworks front.


I'm glad we've been able to figure out the going at least though. It's nice to feel like you're not just stuck somewhere, and you've got a choice on it.

In two days I'll have been here 4 years. And there was Mt. Weather before that. All that time we never had any control over the portal. Pretty wild to even think of that being a possibility.

With full disclosure that I'm sure I'll get caught up in the next round, I'm glad that's done.

It did sort of get me thinking though, with all the older us, and younger us, and verions of us. Do you want to stay here for like ten years in the future? If you did, who would you want here to stay with you?

Which, I guess I should start, cause I've been two different places now and here for several years, and it's not bad? less Vampire-y, generally, so that's alright. And I miss a lot of people, so picking one is hard, although I guess technically I didn't say pick one, so Giles, Willow, Dawn. That's a start.

So, I know we are kind of in a bind with things being different and all, but I thought I'd put a fair warning out there for everyone who has gotten into the habits of shaking trees for money.

Sometimes, you don't get money. Sometimes, you get a full damn sofa fall on you. That's a thing now too!

Injuries and possible concussion are no longer an issue though, so I'll still be at the restaurant tomorrow morning. And considering moving the sectional sofa into the upcoming treehouse.

I need the portal to stop being a twat.

Given the nature of the Cruise, and our lives in general with an active Portal, I held back on announcing a date for our production of Mamma Mia, to accommodate ports / attacks / departures / etc until closer to when we were ready. As we've lost a few of our cast members, we are rearranging a few aspects of the show to make it work, and this has caused a need for some extra rehearsals. While I had hoped we'd be able to announce curtain up for May 8th, I'm going to say (baring anymore issues) we'll have our production occur on May 15th. This will give us time to iron out the kinks.

The production will be dedicated to Molly Hayes, Lyra Belacqua and Megan Gwynn.

There's talk of moving kids outside of Tumbleweed, but we don't have complete data on whether or not she'd snatched anyone outside of here.
