In two days I'll have been here 4 years. And there was Mt. Weather before that. All that time we never had any control over the portal. Pretty wild to even think of that being a possibility.

What are your thoughts on staying or going, if we have a choice in the matter?

	I'm not sure that's an option I want. But I do agree it's something that should be on the table for anyone who wants it. Plenty of people don't have much, or anything, to go back to. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

If I could jump back to our universe, as in the one we were made in, that'd be one thing. Shit, there was stuff I was planning on doing there.

Apocalypse!world? Don't get me wrong, I'm alive and off anyone's radar, so much as that's possible. But it took me like nine months to get fully up to power, and that's a long ass time in that place. It's far from certain I'm ever getting a happy ending over there. That's not a guilt trip. It was my choice. I just don't see what there is to gain from me going back.

Admittedly, running AWAY from bad shit is also my first instinct. So, throw as much salt on that as you want.

I'm certainly not taking a train out of here any time soon. This world is pretty great. And neither option has me near non-homicidal siblings. I miss my brothers. Including those I never met. The odds of me meeting them here are as good as there. At least in the 'not murdering me on site' variety.

So yeah, unless someone comes up with some awfully convincing plea, I'm staying here. Love to have you, you big lug. But I won't be surprised or hurt if you decide to go.

	I think at some point I'd like to go home. It'd be nice to know more about my future, see Dean again. But I don't think I'm leaving immediately. Selina said in the future I'll be here, older. It'd be nice to see Deano here. Give him a chance to eat burgers in peace. Have a short rest. At least. And I'll be glad to have you as long as you choose to stay.

Timelines are tricky. And you're only ever in one of them at a time. So that's the only one we see the effects of generally. But multiple are possible. Could be she was from a 'you stay here indefinitely' timeline, and if you go, she'll grow up to be a different Selina. And that one's still over there somewhere else. You gotta live, you being you. Like sure, I could send humans back to the past to do whatever. But even when tied up to a well powered Heaven, that gets messy. Pocket dimensions are much tidier. Less likely to destroy yourself somehow. Point is, we only got the one time we know. So live it. Not some possible future.

	If you're staying for a bit, I feel like that definitely is an encouragement to stay. I do like the life we've been sort of exploring. And it's strange, but not terrible, to not have vampires that I'm worrying about all of the time. I do kind of wish that my sister was here, but it's not like I won't see her again either. 	There's some excitement without the real pressure of all of the other, you know? Like sure, the world might be threatened occasionally, but also we're not having to fight vampires every single night, or demons, or any of that. I'd definitely like it if they did.
