Is that offer for help with history still open? I needed a break, so I switched to maths, but now I'm trying to figure out the world wars and I have no idea who the majority of the important figures they are discussing are, so I feel like I'm not fully understanding something.

Also it feels like information overload at this moment, so it's possible I just need to decompress and come back to it.

How are you doing?

Alright. I'm making teleporter bracelets that can take you to the dinosaur island place in an emergency. Bonus: they can also take you home, wherever your home is here in Tumbleweed, either from the island or from somewhere else dangerous. So if you're in trouble here, you can go to the island, and if you wander off and get into trouble somewhere, you can get out of it by teleporting home. The bracelets can also bring pets, people nearby, or important belongings along with you, as long as you're touching them.

Um. I just picked up like fifty thousand dollars from the Resettlement Bureau. They said it came through the portal with my name on it.

Not to brag or anything, but that's like a lot of money here in Tiny Town, TX when you don't have to pay rent or utility bills.

And classes are about to let out.

A like a few others, I too received a gift. It is armor, but not one I am familiar with. So I will assume it is from after my time. Still, it's rather useful and it does help in making me feel safer.

And like Allison said, everything is back to normal as well. It is odd how much I missed Naryu and my magic.

With a ball coming up and with myself being without a job so far, I'd like to offer my services as a Grisha Tailor to the masses that will be attending.

First point I'd like to make is that by Tailor, I do not mean in terms of clothes. I work with physical attributes. I can make blemishes disappear. I can do a variety of hairstyles and add shiny to your locks. I can match your makeup perfectly to the dress you plan on wearing. I'll even give your eyes a particular tint. I can do most of this without caking your face full of foundation and primer and whatnot that the beauty salons of this world love so much.

If you're wondering about my credentials in this department, this is all I did during my life living at the palace in my world for the Queen. I was her Tailor for all the big events, having lived with her since I was five. I was a servant girl in this matter, however, so my payment was basically food and a roof over my head, but I've accumulated years of skill-honing.

The effects will be temporary, at best for several hours, so no need to worry about permanent makeup. Please reach out to me if you'd like my services.

There are times I'm convinced this portal has some sort of will to it, because some days it offers several dangerous creatures. Other days, apparent gifts. This does make transportation a little easier though.
