I'm in
space! And there's a talking dog. And if you don't think that's the most amazing thing ever, you're
wrong!
Unless you take into consideration that we're also on a giant disembodied head. Because.. that's pretty amazing, too.
Mr. Cosmo told me that I should introduce myself-- I'm Alphonse Elric, of Amestris. If you don't know where that is, it's sort of hard to explain. It's on Earth and it's big and Alchemy is one of the things we're known for. That's what I do back home, I'm an Alchemist. Pretty sure I'm the first ever Alchemist in space, they're never going to believe me when I get back home and tell them where I've been. They'll probably be pretty upset that I left without saying anything, but it wasn't really my fault! I don't know that the Colonel will care that it wasn't my fault, though. When I make it home, they'll probably lock me up in a dungeon to make sure I don't vanish again, and then no one will ever visit me and I won't have anymore friends, except for Roy and Riza, who will feed me through a slot in the door and remind me daily that I shouldn't have run off, and I'll get depressed and lonely and I'll start to wither away and then even when they finally release me, I'll be so skinny and old and broken that I'll
never get a girlfriend, so I'll never have a wife! That means I'll never have children and my mother will be so devastated and she'll die of a broken heart and I'll have to live with that for the rest of my wifeless, childless life!
I have to get home to my mother.
