There is no requirement to attend, but you will be gladly welcomed if you do.

This is likely to be an initial 'get to know you' meeting, with some discussion around our individual skills and what our priorities as a community ought to be going forward.

If anyone has any suggestions, grievances, or points for discussion they know they would like raised, you can let myself or Katherine know in advance and it will be added to the order of business to ensure we cover it. There will of course be time dedicated for open discussion, so don't worry if you don't get your point 'in' on time.

Please be assured that Katherine and I are not in charge or trying to start some sort of dictatorship here, but simply have volunteered to help with the smooth running and administration of this endeavour.

One more thing, if anyone would be willing to act as secretary and take minutes of these meetings it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to make maple taffy in the food court tomorrow (Friday) and again on Sunday. It's fun to do, everyone interested is welcome to join me. This includes children - I do ask that very young children have an adult or older child to supervise them.
